  1. It looks like the two sides of the bracket will be (2, 3, 6, 7) and (9, 12, 16, unranked).
  2. Fuck that. We’re obviously not the favorites, but anything can happen and it’s not like anyone else (besides maybe OU recently) have been unbeatable.
  3. SFA cutting four sports.
  4. The last two posts back-to-back is something else:
  5. Assuming Texas did have some say on what day this particular game would be played (and I could see that being the case given the reported negotiations between the Big 12/Texas/Fox/ESPN about allowing Texas to get out of the Big 12 a season early), I would think Texas would prefer to play the game on Saturday for all of the logistical reasons stated above (fans already having travel plans, not wanting a short week for the team, etc.). I could also see ESPN not wanting Texas to agree to move the game to compete directly with their stand-alone broadcast the next day.
  6. Team with the most Ethans wins?
  7. https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/texas-nixed-ohio-states-request-to-alter-2025-season-openers-kickoff-time/ Great writing. I, for one, could care less...
  8. Oh god - the special teams...
  9. We're going to have to win at least two matches that we are currently down two strokes with seven or fewer holes left. This feels pretty much over.
  10. Down 3-2, all but one of the matches are still close.
  11. Quarterfinal matches Kiara Romero (2) vs. Bohyun Park (109), 10:40 a.m., 1st tee - Huge edge to Oregon Tong An (108) vs. Lauren Kim (10), 10:50 a.m. - Huge edge to Texas Suvichaya Vinijchaitham (25) vs. Cindy Hsu (37), 11 a.m. - Slight edge to Oregon Karen Tsuru (30) vs. Farah O'Keefe (11), 11:10 a.m. - Slight edge to Texas Ting-Hsuan Huang (182) vs. Angela Heo (148), 11:20 a.m. - Edge to Texas Based purely on the rankings on the NCAA website, it looks pretty evenly matched.
  12. South Carolina really blew it and allowed UVA to push into the last spot. Going by rankings it should be some pretty close matches.
  13. Northwestern is now -2 and in third place. They are the lowest ranked team (11) out of the top eight right now, so their early success may not be indicative of how good they actually are.
  14. Such great writing.
  15. They're intentional about practice and playing football, unlike most OL, who are generally accidental. They're always saying "What the hell. How did I get here?" when they end up playing football.
  16. I do not think he's equating them - I think he's just stating that any Arkansas losses are good for us (2-3 losses are better than 1, but 1 is still better than 0).
  17. Only a Villanova transfer, right?
  18. He’s probably an idiot, but it’s not like he went out and tanked his HoF chances. All of the allegations were from a decade or more ago, long before he would have been sniffing the HoF. Given the timing, it’s certainly possible that the Ravens were aware previously and waited until he was losing his skills to allow it to leak out.
  19. That was just one possibility that would have led to Luka being the best player on a championship team. My point was exactly what you stated in your next sentence - it seems pretty clear that Luka can win a title as the best player on his team, because Dallas came pretty close to doing it already.
  20. These takes are always ridiculous. They literally beat the 1, 3, and 4 seeds in the West last year and were three wins away from being a championship team in which Luka was the centerpiece. If Tatum hurt himself or something else happened last year, they probably beat the Celtics (or the Pacers) in the finals. And knowing how close they were to winning a championship, we have people saying that it could never happen.
