  1. There is a federal law that requires only 11.7 scholarships in NCAA baseball???
  2. Alabama and Tennessee competing in the Big 12 for rowing, so the rowing team may not be competing in the SEC in Fall 2022.
  3. He’s a UT grad who hates Texas because they investigated him for sending inappropriate messages and pictures to a student. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.texastribune.org/2018/12/18/ut-released-records-related-investigation-charles-schwertner/amp/
  4. East: Maryland, Rutgers, Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, Indiana, Purdue, Northwestern West: USC, UCLA, Oregon, Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois It definitely makes the West look a lot more salty.

  13. I'm always pretty skeptical, but the fact that Finebaum has started talking about how big this would be for the SEC instead of downplaying how no one cares about Texas and they are no longer relevant makes me think this is likely happening.
  14. What exactly is a University CEO? Are we talking presidents? Are some university ADs run by a CEO?
  15. But Kurt said....
  16. I think the biggest issue for the pod system is what to do with LSU, and this is one way to deal with it and not put LSU in a group that doesn't include any close regional teams.
  17. I bet Ohio State and Michigan might consider the SEC if Penn State, Michigan State, Wisconsin, and Purdue had already left the Big Ten. Texas wouldn't be joining the SEC if A&M, Nebraska, Colorado, and Mizzou were still here.
