  1. Avoid Oak Hill / Eastbound 290 on Monday, 08 Jul 24. ◇■◇■◇ I do not know how long this diverdion will last. ■◇■◇■ I have been informed that Highway 290 (currently 2 lanes) will be re-routed / diverted onto the jacked up access Road @ "The Buck Stops Here", follow that for maybe ¼ mile (including a stop sign that may or may not be modified) & then back onto 290 @ the current 290 / Circle Drive / Thunderbird traffic light. ☆SUPPOSEDLY☆ W bound 290 will not be affected. I am certain Circle Drive will also be near to useless as it is already a well known bypass. Srsly - the access road that is sonna handle that volume is insanely craptacular. I can easily see this clusterfuck backing up past Trautwein.
  2. • What are the dimensions of the hole, L × W? • How deep? • Temperature @ deprh vs. current topside? • How long does it take to get from top to bottom? • What tools are you using @ the bottom? • Do you leave tools @ the bottom or bring them all up every time? • How do you secure the opening to prevent an attractive nuisance? • Do you wish you had made the opening larger, i.e. 6×8 to start & maybe wishing you had gone 8×8 instead for a bit more turnaround room or space for a 2nd person? • What's Mrs. Clever think of all this? ● Do you ever anticipate going horizontal? •• If so, how far? ••What direction? Away from the house? 180⁰ from the house? 90⁰? • Maybe as an antechamber & how large? ••Standing height? • Pic from the bottom? [emoji848][emoji780]️[emoji3166]
  3. Damn, LongCat is long. I bailed after the 4th paragraph.
  4. Correct. All other providers have poor to nil reception put here.
  5. Yeah, my depreciation invoices show not only the payment info (check amount, bank name, amount paid) . I also include pictures of the crew working & it is identifiable as to what actual house it is, not simply a pic taken frim 5 feet away.
  6. Ummm... 🤔 I thought it was "50% or more of the expected lifespan", i.e. a common 30 year shingle is aged 15 years or more, a 3Tab (with an expected life of 20.years) is aged 10 years or more. ❓️
  7. I like you boys. You give us a ride when we need to somewhere.
  8. I got the alert back to back after a log out maybe 4 minutes prior.
  9. 1. Current bank. 2. Ameros. 3. Shiba Inu's. Your Moms house.
  10. Better me than you. *NTTAWWT PM sent.
  11. "Commercial Standing Seam"❓️
  12. Logged into my credit union app - had also logged in yesterday & the day before, etc. & suddenly it thinks I am on a new device + doing so from a Dallas location. • Currently in Dripping Springs. • I have not cleared cache. • I have not reset or power cycled my phone. • There has not been an update to my Android software / OS for probably +10 days & I have used the app multiple times since that last flash. Why would the app think this is a new [everything related to my account]? I did receive a text asking me to confirm it was me, so while I do appreciate the security🫡, I also am curious as to why that happened. 🤔❓️🤔
  13. Provided you actually DO set this money aside for a contingency, I don't see any actual argument other than catastrophic loss. Insurance paid work we have done: • Water heater I nn the attic blowout, customer lives in a subdivision where there is +75 feet between houses & the layout of the properties prevented any of the neighbors from noticing... no phone call to say "hey, I know you left tow 2 days ago for a 7 day tip... water is running out of the back door & I don't have a key to go inside & see what's going on." • ⚾️ or larger hail (golf ball type hits CAN cause long term damage & shorten the life span of your shingle roof, however it is uncommon for that to be an immediate requirement to replace... baseball hits from the April 24 storm that hit me, Johnson City, Henly, Wimberley, San Marcos... I have seen metal roofs & OSB decking that were punched in. Again, provided you actually set those premium dollars aside for possible use (maybe invest it in a C.D.?), go for it with that assumed / understood risk. *current costs for a shingle total re-roof for a 1 story "walkable", 30 year (generic Dimensional / Architectural) is around $ 500 to $ 550 / square & for a somewhat common 35 square house that's $ 17,500.⁰⁰ to $ 19,250.⁰⁰.
  14. Farm Bureau is a good company IMO & has approved us 2× (hail) in the past 6 years. The last one is from +baseball sized hits, so I really had no option to pass that up.
  15. As noted prior, if you have a mortgage then this is not possible. You did not comment on that potential.
  16. Same Mom?
