  1. HEB around 8:30pm on Tuesday when all of the single people hit it up and less crowded - produce and meat. Whole Foods 6:30 on Thursday (won't buy much because of the prices) if I want a beer at the bar and creep on the ladies who just finished yoga.
  2. Jesus. It's not even two games in the season yet. Take it easy.
  3. UA981 flight is half full of Astros fans. Looks like there will be a lot of orange at Tropicana. Edit: Are you flying United? I don't see you 3putt.
  4. Bought tickets for Thursday. Section 123. For those that have decided to go. I'll be in the St. Pete area around noon. Going straight to Bodega on Central for a cuban sandwich followed by Green Bench Brewing Company for a beer or three.
  5. Did any of you buy tickets to the Tampa Bay opening game yet?
  6. I have only seen this version
  7. Lotti Dotti will be moving into the old Brooklyn Athletic Club. Greenspoint should be happy because they will have the chef from Presidio. Ronnie Killen is opening a new restaurant where Hickory Hollow used to be.
  8. So you are the one that torched Presidio
  9. I guess I remember those games differently. I remember them as Harden dribble the ball for 18 seconds and then shoot. Not just those games pointed out, but the entire series. CP3 is smart enough to pull Harden aside and tell him to get his head in the game. Harden is one of my favorite players, but I would rather have CP3 with the ball in his hands when the game is on the line.
  10. I'm not talking about the Warriors series last year. Do you not remember seasons 2015 -20017 when all Harden did in the playoffs was dribble and turn the ball over? He can't lead the team.
  11. Harden won't break down because he is tired. The guy can score, but he isn't someone who can lead the team to victory in the playoffs. CP3 is that guy.
  12. I was told AJ was a horrible manager along with Losenow
  13. I want an IPA, but not a German one. I'm sick of German IPAs. I want something citrus and malty. It was the stereotypical dumb blonde girl.
  14. The smell of the tires when shopping for new tires, and the smell of cedar in the hardware store.
  15. Looks like a good foam party though By the way, an independent contractor CTEH also stated benzene levels were not a public health concern.
  16. There were also lies about benzene levels after Harvey. Ed Emmett was in charge then. Does the county judge have access to numbers the EPA doesn't? The EPA said they flew planes and everything was within safe levels. The Environmental Defense Fund (EDF), a nongovernmental organization deployed 10 air-quality monitors to check for chemicals around Houston. By the way, the city requested the EDF monitors. Schools were closed. People with respiratory issues, children, and the elderly were told to take precaution since day one. Not much else anyone can do other than sit and wait for lawsuits. Regarding chemicals spilling into the ship channel. Is that Linda Hidalgo's job, or is it the responsibility of the City of Deer Park, ITC, the EPA, and emergency crews to have procedures and guidelines on how to handle situations like this. I don't know... I had no issues with Ed Emmett and thought he did a good job, but I doubt things would have been handled much differently unless he knows more about chemical fires than the experts. As Jshep stated, lots of lessons learned here.
  17. Yeah she wasn't graceful addressing the situation the first day, but tell me what else she could have done to make this situation better?
  18. Let's go fishing in the bay https://abc13.com/5208294/?fbclid=IwAR3XvQbmlaQUeAa0BlXzG0Z-lRH5kZ8D8utj3wYukJyKGzsBR5bMY6o9ULA
  19. Is this a knock on the county judge?
  20. Montrose café and bar going up in former Etro space I was hoping for laid back bar where I could order a cheap beer or a wine for my date. I suppose this will do. https://www.houstonchronicle.com/entertainment/restaurants-bars/article/Montrose-cafe-and-bar-going-up-in-former-Etro-13700477.php The former Etro Lounge nightclub in Montrose that closed last year and moved to new digs downtown will be home to a new all-day concept that will offer coffee, wine and a menu from a James Beard Award-winning chef. Details for Penny Quarter – a Montrose Café & Bar were announced Tuesday, a project expected to open in early June from a team that includes the principals of Better Luck Tomorrow and the upcoming Squable in the Heights. Situated just behind Anvil at 1424 Westheimer, Penny Quarter will be a two-level space inspired by Montrose's café and bar culture, serving high quality coffee, wine and a simple menu from morning to night. The café and bar's wine list will feature about 100 options, in addition to a beer list and a small selection of spirits (no cocktails). The coffee program will draw from the best coffee available from roasters both local and national. For the food menu, Yu will offer a morning menu of 10 to 12 dishes such as pistachio butter and burnt honey toast, spicy fried egg and bacon sandwich, and rice bowl with sausage and salsa verde. An evening menu of eight to 10 dishes might feature light snacks, salads and more substantial dinner options such as crispy grilled cheese and Yu's take on chicken and rice.
  21. You wear sandals with jeans. Seems like you are one of those guys that pay.
  22. The Chase portal almost always tries to scam me for international flights. Chase wants $100k to fly to Frankfurt in June unless I take two connections. Transfer to United and it's 30k miles.
  23. Yeah, I have never heard of a Texas fan talk shit about another team even though they aren't in the same conference. Ever...
