    USMNT 2024

last i heard was speculation that he's still under contract and trying to navigate around that.
  2. how long do you have to keep it plugged in to fully charge 35 miles?
  3. Where's the fuzzy mic picking up on court sounds? It's crazy how much it's bugging me. Like watching baseball hearing only the pbp without the pop of the glove or crack of the bat.
  4. No it's not cured, smoked, or marinated in any way. Not even salt. Just sliced and then onto the tabletop grill. Once it's cooked thru, take it off, dip in sesame oil and salt, then on to a small riceball with a small piece of romaine under it.
  5. we have several friends/family who have toyota/lexus hybrids and love em. for me though the two most appealing factors which drove us to a tesla were 1.) savings on electric charging vs gas fillups and 2.) me not having to perform normal maintenance. we also like to drive our cars into the ground so the battery issue is me whistling past the graveyard. my sister in law has an ioniq 5. we were considering it until she got one and complained about how many little things were causing her grief (from having trouble repairing her matte chipped paint to odd electronic issues in her dashboard) but things seem to have gotten better the past year or so. i actually tried to buy the f150 lightning but never got delivery and by that time just said forget it and we bought a model 3 instead. it's our little car for when we don't have to take all the kids somewhere. love it.
  6. you'll have double the worries then (ICE and electric motor)

    Olive oil

yes if you're being cost effective there's cheaper out there. but anything above 350... doesn't necessarily rule it out.

    Olive oil

why not? it works. i use it for most everything that doesn't require searing.
  9. yeah they're great for grinding/slicing and deep freezing. traditionally ground pork tenderloin is what goes into the meat filling of most asian dumplings. but one of my relatives showed us how in her family they used ground pork belly. it made a pleasant difference in the tenderness and looseness of the filling. so we've been buy pork bellies, grinding that, and freezing them in batches to use for dumpling fillings and also occasionally for whatever we'd use ground pork for. another thing we do with costco pork belly is slice it down into thin korean bbq style pieces and use that on the tabletop grill. no need to premarinate, grill it up and dip into sesame oil and salt, place on top of a pile of medium grain rice inside a romaine lettuce leaf and pop it into your mouth.
  10. thought for sure it was paula deen til you said "he"
  11. thunder woke me up at 4:51 and i couldn't go back to sleep. but it's good because i'd forgotten to set a cart at heb.
  12. weren't they notorious for being either completely on or completely off? would've been quite the experience having a ticket in hand not knowing what you were going to get that night.
  13. 16 when pearl harbor happened. wow. hookem.
  14. is the speculation a reunion tour or album or what?
  15. got a nice 5 minute shower in 78728
  16. technically no they're different animals, but "ground buffalo" in the stores here is actually ground bison. i don't like it, it tastes like 97/3 beef which is too lean for me. i like the 80/20 and would rather eat 70/30 than 90/10. what i've been doing since covid is combining 80/20 with ground turkey at a 1:1 ratio and the texture the turkey adds makes it so velvety.
  17. it's done? i'll take this summer every year.
  18. this just brought back a memory i haven't thought of in a while. i was a sophomore living in jester east when 9/11 happened. a few weeks passed and life went more or less back to normal. our IM football team was practicing one saturday on the IM field closest to the shack with a smattering of other groups around the complex. we gradually noticed a growing group of people speed walking toward the shack where we were which is weird because the parking lot's in the other direction. we looked over to where they were coming from and at the parking lot gate there were a handful of figures dressed in middle eastern robes and scarves. we never found out who they were (prob a student group), we got outta there with everyone else.
  19. you're 3 hours late.

  21. Does legislation matter if the little s state refuses to legislate?
  22. i feel your pain. i called her out on the ironing thing once. it didn't go well for me. now i fight a more passive aggressive battle. she folds the still wrinkled shirts and hides them in the middle of the pile for me to put away. i take them back out and hang them by the ironing board. they basically stay there until i need to wear it and then i iron it. right now i have one shirt i wore to cancun hanging there, waiting for an iron. i'm being stubborn about this one. we last went to cancun in july 2022.
