  1. http://rf.freestreams-live1.com/washington-nationals-live-stream/ Multitask and watch Elder makes his first MLB start. 6:20PM first pitch if link works.
  2. Conference only stats at the conference halfway mark. Slipped to #5 in Fielding but no worries, everyone is fielding well except OU and KSt. Note the ERA's, hitter's league. https://big12sports.com/stats.aspx?path=baseball&year=2022&conf=true (click on image for larger print)
  3. If they can win the CC (38 RPI), Ga Southern (25 RPI), and Texas St (37 RPI) series would improve their RPI of 58. But safest thing is to win the conference tournament. In other news, Florida beat Ark today 9-7 to end the Hogs' 13 straight conference series winning streak. Florida may be waking up, currently 5-7 in conference.
  4. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10701089/Bank-America-analyst-warns-clients-recession-shock-coming-days.html Above article released this PM, lengthy with several charts. Presented for comments. Note Dalio's comments. Economics is not my field or forte. Excerpts: A Bank of America analyst warned that the U.S. economy is deteriorating fast and could push the country into a recession just three days after Deutsche Bank predicted the fall to come in 2023 as the Federal Reserve tightens interest rates to tame surging inflation. BofA chief investment strategist Michael Hartnett wrote in a note to clients: ''Inflation shock' worsening, 'rates shock' just beginning, 'recession shock' coming.' Dalio argued that the Fed now faces a bind in which rate hikes will either be too low to reduce inflation, or too high for the economy to withstand. 'So what you have is an enough tightening by the Federal Reserve to deal with inflation adequately, and that is too much tightening for the markets and the economy,' he said. 'The Fed is going to be in a very difficult place a year from now as inflation still remains high and it starts to pinch on both the markets and the economy,' Dalio explained.
  5. Cornelio and Walker are regular starters for TCU. Perez, a solid relief pitcher, is making his first collegiate career start. Ricky Jacquez type, small in stature, but throws the heat. Doubt if they expect him to go very far. @Helobious area from Laredo Alexander, probably grew up wanting to be a Longhorn. Reading the TCU boards, they have hitting issues, especially from the DH.
  6. https://texaslonghorns.evenue.net/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/SEGetEventList?groupCode=BBSGT&linkID=tex-ath&shopperContext=&caller=&appCode= Check above link. Most lower level seats are sold so you have to go the StubHub or other market route. Upper seats may be available but not sure how many you need together. If you buy from the ticket office, consider L3 or L4 since it is a night game or R3, R4 is by the Texas bullpen and chance for postgame autographs. Your kids will enjoy being closer to the field More lively crowd if your kids are younger. Seems most prefer L3 or L4. Just have to watch for foul balls. But the upper seats provide a better view of the game. Check the ticket availability for your game and date and we can further provide info.
  7. Entertainment from the UH/SHSU game on Tuesday. Read that UH/SHSU have a rivalry and play for the Sanders Cup (whatever that may be). Houston won 8-6.
  8. https://mygoodstream.pw/espn/espn3.php?id=8c964604-95a4-4e60-8980-5c03964bb25f&co=jm Fla St vs Fl, 2-2, bottom of 6th. Good softball instead of this crap.
  9. Can't believe aggy Kendall is giving out free info. Click on link for comments. 10. Grand Canyon has a solid program, currently #33 RPI. They are in the WAC, play non conf against the Calif schools, good program. Tech has another game against them tonight which should help Tech's RPI since they are playing in Arizona. If Pierce is going to play his starters all game, he should schedule them instead of UTRGV.
  11. https://mygoodstream.pw/espn/espn3.php?id=8ba9cd6f-bf24-4f24-9bae-0551dc3bafec&co=jm Should be good link. 1-1, 2nd inning.
  12. Sry, bad links, other links not avail. 😐
  13. Hopefully Silas will be replaced early by Schuessler. Rest for the catcher is a good thing.
  14. https://mygoodstream.pw/espn/espn3.php?id=8ba9cd6f-bf24-4f24-9bae-0551dc3bafec&co=jm Texas St vs aggy, 6:30PM start.
  15. Wasn't there a much more egregious "no call" on Friday or recently ? Always a judgement call by the ump. If Smith had only taken a half step back after catching the ball... Needs to be addressed at practice. Can't believe how much the pitching staff has regressed. #smh
  16. OkSt beat Baylor last night, 2-0. OkSt is really good. Baylor is better than their record (17-16, 0-5). 11 of those losses were to OU, OkSt, Cal, UCLA, Hawaii. Oregon, Oregon St. We will see the results of the MW plan for emphasis on offense in the next few weeks. Early start today, 12PM.
  17. https://mygoodstream.pw/espn/espn3.php?id=1a43f04d-7812-465c-aa80-bcab7b40ac95&co=jm OkSt @ Baylor, no score after 3. Would be great if Baylor can win one.

  19. No one can find a link. Bally is not mainstream.
  20. Iowa St (19-13), Big12 stats, 4th hitting and pitching, 3rd in fielding. We are 3rd in hitting and pitching, 5th in fielding (.957). 6PM Fri, 1PM Sat, 12PM Sun LHN This is Iowa St's opening conference series. They have been battle tested with losses to Wash, UCLA, and Arizona. On paper won't be the easiest team to sweep. https://big12sports.com/stats.aspx?path=softball&year=2022
  21. Friend is working on finding a stream if you don't have Direct TV stream. Will post if he is successful.
  22. From @UncleSonny link below. https://theathletic.com/3174997/2022/03/31/i-pushed-myself-to-the-limit-bears-great-steve-mcmichael-as-tough-as-they-come-on-the-field-is-in-the-fight-of-his-life/
  23. https://big12sports.com/stats.aspx?path=baseball&year=2022 to Good observation. OU is 4th in hitting, 8th in pitching and fielding. They were terrible with 5 errors in the Sunday loss to Baylor though they won the series. Complaints about our K's are warranted (top 3 in league with Tech/OkSt) though when you are leading the league with a .321 team average it can be absorbed. 3.49 team era and a super .987 fielding average.
  24. Need to put the aggy game in the past but pardon this post about Schossnagle's post game interview. Note the "cold" exchange by Pierce. Pierce was very upset about the last strike call on Campbell. He runs across the field to confront the umpire and then to the handshake line. He was last in line due to confronting the umpire. Schlossnagle likely expected a more cordial handshake after his first game in this great rivalry. And there may have been other reasons post or pre game. Was anyone in Sec 10 behind the aggy dugout that heard anything being yelled to Schloss that crossed the line ? Having been to several games in collie station, I won't bore with the details the way Texas fans are treated, especially the coaches. That said, personal observation only, I have not seen Pierce friendly interact with the opposing coaches pre or post game. Just his personality, pro or con. Again, personal observation. It was a great experience in Austin on Tuesday. There were a lot more Aggies in the ballpark than I expected, so that was great. They called me some interesting names in the dugout. Some of the names were very creative. The opposing coaching staff was not as friendly as they were when we were in the same conference, but that's fine. https://texags.com/s/44532/jim-schlossnagle-looks-back-on-win-in-austin-previews-trip-to-tuscaloosa
