  1. My thoughts: Ben's still alive and is going to be used as a pawn for Navarro at some point. As with GoT, if you don't see the on-screen death, it didn't happen. The cremated corpse was the driver of the McLaren.
  2. Off the top of your head, do you have a list of places you think will actually be on the verge? Going down there next week to service some doors and windows we sold down there and would like to support a couple. If the Gaff or Kody's closes down I won't even recognize the island any longer.
  3. Yep. Total dickhead. Watched him get KO'd for it at The Ranch one time.
  4. Be grateful for your job security. There were a few people I talked to yesterday who were worried about their jobs ending immediately if this didn't change this week. It's not a chartered trip to Cabo. It's essential work for dependent people without a ton of other options to feed their families. And it can be done responsibly.
  5. This shit is cracking me up; having seen it posted several times across several threads. Want to PM me your address and your order and I'll go get you some hootch?
  6. Wouldn’t say anyone is enjoying things around here, but we did figure we’d have some solid free time to be hands-on with this little fella during his formative weeks:
  7. I'm following the rest of the recipe fairly easily. It's this part that I can't seem to wrap my head around.
  8. Aw hell. Reddit got ahold of this one https://www.reddit.com/r/news/comments/fqj786/austin_company_looking_to_dock_paychecks_for/
  9. Where'd you see names? I traced this back from my twitter feed and still haven't seen this shit company named.
  10. Cross-posting since this one gets a little more traffic. If you're pro getting construction back underway in Austin, please sign and share the petition. https://www.change.org/p/city-of-austin-mayor-steve-adler-keep-austin-building-safely-during-covid-19-shelter-in-place-order

  12. Hell yes. Don't forget that they're cash-only if you're going to indulge.
  13. There's a reasonably responsible way of continuing work for these guys. So, I respectfully disagree, and, apparently, so do the decision-makers in Harris and Dallas. Lot of families that would be immediately impacted by a building shutdown that aren't eligible for any sort of government assistance.
  14. It is fairly broad, but look at that order versus the Harris Co one deadshank posted above.
  15. According to the builder, they're threatening a $1000 fine per worker on job sites after the 27th.
  16. You're correct. Think Dallas and Houston both had different wording that made residential construction inclusive into the "essential" sector. Sorry for making the assumption you were in Austin and sounding the alarm. Does appear that it's a real issue here in Travis that the HBA needs to get in front of fairly quickly.
