Takeout in the time of Coronavirus
Hey neighbors! Did you end up trying Las Abuelas? I've been pimping the shit out of that place here recently. Hadn't had the nerve to try Sala even though it's within walking distance. "Sketchy looking" is an understatement. I'd probably go with "Rape shack."

Port Aransas
Off the top of your head, do you have a list of places you think will actually be on the verge? Going down there next week to service some doors and windows we sold down there and would like to support a couple. If the Gaff or Kody's closes down I won't even recognize the island any longer.

Anyone enjoying themselves?
Wouldn’t say anyone is enjoying things around here, but we did figure we’d have some solid free time to be hands-on with this little fella during his formative weeks:

Hell yes. Don't forget that they're cash-only if you're going to indulge.- Thread of local businesses that don't survive the coronavirus
There's a reasonably responsible way of continuing work for these guys. So, I respectfully disagree, and, apparently, so do the decision-makers in Harris and Dallas. Lot of families that would be immediately impacted by a building shutdown that aren't eligible for any sort of government assistance.- Surly Thread of Business Owners/Managers, Etc. & Current Business Climate

It is fairly broad, but look at that order versus the Harris Co one deadshank posted above.- Thread of local businesses that don't survive the coronavirus
According to the builder, they're threatening a $1000 fine per worker on job sites after the 27th. - Formerly DT: COVID-19 - Featuring Lots of Politics, now CR because political talk not going away
