  1. I think I disagree. 2 has no paint or (I assume) signage indicating it can turn while 1 does, so 1 is the only lane that can turn and should go to A. If they want to make B able to turn, they can paint it or add signs. Regardless, it's a bad design that was obviously completed piecemeal and/or without going through the trouble of merging the lanes prior to the intersection to make it clearer and safer.
  2. https://x.com/TreasChest/status/1704830601558216802?s=20 ^ Details about the attack on the Russian base in temporarily occupied Melitopol... The SBU discovered the headquarters at a local engine plant, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces worked on the target. As a result of the missile strike, the commander of the 58th Army of the Russian Federation, as well as their chief of staff, was wounded. Also, more than 10 dead officers, several times more wounded.
  3. GeoConfirmed UKR [CO] - Ukrainian VEHICLES also BREACHED the 1st SUROVIKIN LINE. Based on GeoLocated footage (by @moklasen, @Tatarigami_UA and @DefMon3 ) As expected the first footage of Ukrainian vehicles past the Surovikin line emerged. (Behind the trenchsystem protecting the 1st Surovikin line) On the footage in tweet 2/X (by @moklasen) you see the vehicles (from 82nd Air Assault Brigade) crossing the trench system. A Breach is a very complex operation. This Russian defensive line consisted of an Anti-Tank ditch, dragons teeth and a trench system with direct fire on the previous two. All covered by artillery. First recon elements went in, breached, and made a foothold in the trenchsystem. Followed by infantry units to clear the trenches and widen the gap of enemy direct fire on the breach. (Visible in timelapse on or map, see the infantry arrows) The treelines are full of trenches and defensive positions that need to be cleared before vehicles can come closer. It is a difficult balance between having direct fire support from armored vehicles and enough standoff from enemy anti-tank weapons, all while being in artillery range. It seems that the Ukrainian Army succeeded in one of the most complex operations in recent history of conventional warfare by breaching a three-layered defense system without air superiority and within artillery range. 4. I've seen a few stories about this as it has developed over the last few days. Something needs to be figured out quickly. Poland to stop supplying weapons to Ukraine over grain row https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-66873495 Edit:
  5. He lives? Kadyrov has published a video of himself in the hospital. He claims that he has been at the bedside of his sick uncle. Kadyrov is never shown up close in the video. He commented on his well-being rather vaguely: "At the same time, I will comment on the rumors surrounding my health condition. Praise be to Allah Almighty, I am alive and well and I don't understand why even in case of my illness there should be a fuss? Although there is a good thing in it - now the audience knows which media and which individuals are blatantly lying to their readers."
  6. Maksym Zhorin, Deputy Commander of the 3rd Assault Brigade from Bakhmut area: "The consolidation of the Andriivka-Klishchiivka line is the starting point from which we can more realistically talk about the further encirclement of Bakhmut. Taking this line gives us fire control over a part of the city of Bakhmut itself. This is a support line, which is very important for us to implement further plans. However, the official announcement of the capture of these settlements does not mean that the fighting has stopped. We are still fighting to hold them. In my personal opinion, in the near future, the enemy will no longer think about regaining these settlements, but about deterring us and restoring their own forces, and about arranging their defense line. The enemy will definitely inflict damage as much as possible - using artillery, drones, and 'FAB's - to delay our advance. It is too early to talk about serious attempts to counterattack until the units there are replaced with combat-capable ones and the morale of the personnel is improved. The 72nd motorized rifle brigade of the Russian Federation is completely defeated, and we are unlikely to see it on the frontline in the near future, as its command and control is almost destroyed. The 31st and 83rd Air Assault Divisions are severely damaged. All the attached forces like 'Española' just f***ed off. But all this is temporary. As soon as they put the frame back together, they will try to attack again."
  7. Inside a Russian vehicle hit by an FPV. I believe part of his arm falls off when he gets out
  8. “First Prigozhin. Now Kadyrov." - Russian Telegram channels write. Some say that he has already died, some that he is in critical condition and fell into a coma due to severe kidney failure or that he was poisoned. Up until recently, Prigozhin and Kadyrov were the only two people in Russia with significant power resources who allowed themselves their personal “discussions” about the course of the war. After the murder of Prigozhin, I immediately wrote that Kadyrov would be next. Let's see if Putin's regime is really getting rid of everything and everyone who can afford autonomy and his own private heavily armed army. If Kadyrov dies, the situation in Chechnya might change. Will Putin be able to keep control over Chechnya? Will it become the center of resistance once more? This could be a chance that people of Chechnya could make use of.
  9. That's really something. I wonder what they were firing at.
  10. We should be providing them with air defense systems now. There's no reason their critical infrastructure should be at risk come winter. This will also probably help keep energy prices down for the rest of Europe.
  11. PUTIN’S STUPIDITY ⚡️⚡️ Putin allowed the development of over two dozen 🇷🇺 private military companies & dozens more at the local level. As I have said for over a year: This was Putin’s greatest domestic error, ceding the monopoly on violence, that will destabilize his regime: Today, one of these groups seized the territory of the Dulysma oil company in the 🇷🇺 Irkutsk region. Video from the scene shows the guards shooting in the air and laying company employees on the ground. There will be more and more of these guys with machine guns, riding around Russia, and more and more issues in Russia will be resolved in this way.
  12. The events around Andriivka are even more devastating for the Russian army than anticipated. According to the Ukrainian 3rd Separate Assault Brigade the village was completely surrounded, killing command staff of Russian 72nd Separate Motor Rifle Brigade and trapping some parts of the brigade. During the entire battle, large portions of the army unit were destroyed or captured, effectively destroying the entire Russian 72nd Separate Motor Rifle Brigade. The destruction of this Russian army unit rips a hole in the Russian defenses south of Bakhmut and further complicates the situation for the Russian army which already has sent large reserves to the Zaporizhzhia Front, exposing other frontlines such as this one. Recently liberated Andriivka. As the soldiers of the 3rd brigade of 🇺🇦 tell - "Arrival. There is silence at the command post. The smoke clears - all ours are unharmed, one of captured Russians - in pieces, two are lucky and are taken out to live. Luck plays a role in war." Edit: here's a video that embeds
  13. It's also my (only?) success story. I managed to sell it at it's highest ever intraday high (around $11). Don't ask about the other stonks.
