  1. Hmm. All suspiciously close to the gigafactory. Is Elon Musk a serial killer? I'm just asking questions.
  2. A name change can be denied by the court, even if all the parties agreee, so be aware of that. Some judge’s won’t want to change your stepson’s last name unless you are also adopting him.
  3. And what does that make A&M in this analogy? The people who pay protection money? I'd much rather be the one who is getting money at the threat of violence than the one paying money to ward off violence.
  4. Shit. If this is gonna be that kind of party, I’m gonna stick my dick in the mashed potatoes.
  5. You're welcome at my house anytime.
  6. Hmm. Powerwall is one of the few things Tesla I'd actually be OK with at this point.
  7. Get the James Brown since it is your first time. But don't sleep on the Hot Sausage PoorBoy or the Streetcar PoorBoy (which is just fries/gravy/debris) if you have multiple people to order with and share.
  8. "VISIT ANY OF OUR TWO LOCATIONS!" could be shortened to say "Visit Either of Our Locations!" It would be shorter. And grammatically correct. But then I'm paying them for Taquitos, not for grammar.
  9. Since they don’t have the rights to the awards and they have to make names for them, maybe the biggest collapse can be called “The Bonfire”.
  10. Wouldn’t wish that on your worst enemy.
  11. That was a F'in gullywasher in 78731 (near Far West). Sideways rain, minor road flooding, the whole nine yards. One of the Hydromet gauges near me say 2.6 inches, the other 1.3. My backyard gauge says 1.5 inches. So definitely a "bullseye". Rained out my kiddo's kickball game, and scared the crap outta my pre-K kiddo getting off the bus at about 3:30.
  12. At least 11 AM in michigan in September shouldn’t be heat stroke territory
  13. This. I used to do a thought experiment that was “if I won the lottery and didn’t have to work, where would I live?” And it used to be Austin (and using the executive airport over Bergstrom!) Now it’s not anywhere in Texas. But I still enjoy what we have here. Was out for my anniversary on Friday night at Underdog on South 1st. Food was great, wine was great, company was great (especially without our kids!), and the people watching was great. Then went downtown after for a night cap and went to a few places, did a little tourist-in-your-own-town type of thing. It was awesome.
  14. Tough love is still love.
  15. Yeah. I am fine with missing this one.
  16. At least you’re not the worst yard on your street. Or, in another way of saying it, you’re helping the environment 2nd most on your street.
  17. I've seen your yard. And apparently, so has TCAD.
  18. That was some of he loudest thunder I’ve heard in Austin in 20+ years (about 2 a.m. last night). All three of my kids slept through it.
  19. Well it’s not open yet, so you really must have mismanaged time if you went by sober and it was. You got so drunk you went back in time.
  20. https://www.nola.com/entertainment_life/eat-drink/turkey-and-the-wolf-opening-new-restaurant-in-new-orleans/article_9173c4c0-08b3-11ef-9f1c-efcd6a183625.amp.html Well looks like I’ll have a new place to try when I’m there later this year.
