  1. BYU had a pretty bad start to conference play and didn't start playing good basketball until mid-February, so lagging behind in the rankings is understandable. Also, aside from smacking Arizona down, ISU has kind of been limping along as of late.
  2. BYU ain't fucking around
  3. This all tracks with my understanding as well.
  4. Watch, every single one of the progressive anti-Zionist Jewish organizations will eventually be labeled terrorist organizations. The ADL is pushing for this.
  5. What laws did he violate? The government isn't even pretending he broke the law.
  6. God please just make the fucking FSD talk stop already
  7. I agree with this, this is tantamount to a play in game in my opinion as well for Texas. Y'all will learn about all you need to know about your team that you didn't know already today.
  8. Again, someone needs to point to the laws of this country that have been violated. The Bill of Rights applies to every person on American soil. Simply using speech that runs contrary to the acting administration's message is not anywhere close to being an adequate or legal reason to black bag/arrest and deport someone. Not remotely close. No evidence has been presented that this person is a member of or offers material (or even verbal) support for any terrorist organization. He has not been charged or even accused of a crime. The administration's angle is that his speech presents a national security risk, which is ridiculous, and no red-blooded American should ever accept that premise on its face. It runs completely contrary to what we claim are our most important values as a country.
  9. I have nothing but respect for KJ lol, he is a great player and I'm sure a good dude. You need to stop reading jocular "criticism" as anything beyond that. I'd say the exact same words to any of my friends if they looked as goofy as he does. It ain't serious.
  10. Also, he fucking dunks really weird, like he's taken so much HGH that his arm muscles are all fucked up and he can't actually bring his hands behind his head or something. Go look at his dunks and tell me I'm crazy.
  11. UCF actually has very very good guards, they just don't have any bigs that are worth a shit. e: Actually I take that back, Moustapha Thiang is a pretty dece big but that's about it and he's young so he makes a fair number of mistakes.
  12. On the other hand, I love KJ Adams' game but his body proportions are so weird I can't ever think about anything else. Dude it taking way too much HGH and his legs are too short.
  13. I fucking hate Hunter Dickinson
  14. And yeah the floor fucking sucks
  15. UCF has a chance to do the funniest thing...
  16. They should be a lot better than a sub-.500 Big East team just looking at their roster. Ed Cooley gonna have to start producing.
  17. Speaking of Zion, who's on our all time fat boy NCAA team? Julius Peppers Larry Johnson Zion Williamson Shelvin Mack Sherron Collins? That's just off the top of my head, I'm probably missing quite a few. I remember people calling him _urant at the beginning of the year because of that
  18. I like this list, rotate with Steph Curry, Kemba Walker/Dwyane Wade (pick one), Carmelo Anthony, Patrick Ewing, Tyler Hansbrough There are a few others I'd like to throw in just to shake it up like Jalen Brunson or David Robinson (people forget he was also bad ass at Navy)
  19. WVU fans have been crying on Twitter about Javon Small not being Big 12 POY too
  20. I think we should let Colorado win the Big 12 tourney because that would be the funniest possible outcome
  21. Literally every protest ever of any substantial size is a mixed bag. There are always going to be people that either press things too far or use the premise of the protest as cover to push an agenda that's actually nefarious in nature. The infamous Charlottesville Unite the Right rally is perhaps the greatest example of this where there were many, many peaceful protestors/demonstrators on both sides, but there were also quite a few groups that used the premise of the rally as an excuse to intimidate others, inflict violence on others, or otherwise engage in activities that most of the people in attendance would find abhorrent (such as the tiki torch mob that was marching and chanting "Jews will not replace us!" etc). What Brisket is trying to say to you is that we cannot be lulled into a state where we begin to accept the US government imprisoning, black bagging, and/or deporting people who are not engaging in illegal activities simply because they are engaging in speech that our elected representatives do not like. Once we begin to accept that, we are lost as a society, period. Civil disobedience has been one of the (if not THE) greatest tools available to affect positive change on our society from a civil rights perspective, and people like you are [seemingly] unwittingly cheering on the government's attempts to destroy that tool with finality. It's very dismaying to see. Again, no one disagrees with you that antisemitism is a problem, and no one disagrees that antisemitism increased (worldwide, not just on college campuses) after the events of October 7th, it was inevitable, and it fucking sucks. People suck. Our highest levels of government are now infested with actual antisemitic pieces of shit. A White House deputy chief of staff and homeland security advisor is an out and about actual unapologetic neo-Nazi. These people do not give the slightest shit about Jewish people beyond using them and the state of Israel as a tool to ultimately silence and/or punish all speech critical of their actions.
