  1. Wouldn’t have mattered. Pubs believe as the Maoists believe: power comes from the barrel of a gun. They had final say on Garland, and fuck your traditions, civility and anything else that isn’t actual power. Dems who want the country we grew up in can fuck off. That country is gone.
  2. I think all surlyians should be behind bisexual women like:
  3. I wish some reporter would get an extended interview and ask Trump zero questions about reality, instead ask him to confirm or deny: the alien landing at Roswell we faked the moon landing 9/11 was inside job Qanon's hypothesis that the CIA (with an assist from Rafael Bienvenido Cruz) assasinated JFK that the HIV virus was developed by the CIA Chemtrails the reptoid hypothesis ancient astronauts the communist fluoridation plot Project Blue Beam the fortnightly addictive power of KFC chicken And so on. Draw out the crazy.
  4. Your expectations are way too high.
  5. Something something Tom Emanski something.
  6. Smartest, strongest, hard working, loyal. 1 of 4 ain't bad. Of course, the makeup of his cuckstituency is catastrophic for us. I think folks with parents hooked on fox news need to strike out a new course to save this country. We need to prevent the olds from voting en masse. Talk to a lawyer and get guardianship proceedings going. Do it for your country. Accuse your parents of being incapacitated today!
  7. I think you're missing a digit.
  8. So he knows nothing about planes.
  9. My wife started phone banking for Beto last night. I assume she’s calling local folks. We live in Montgomery County, so I figured she’d return home each night dejected after numerous negative reactions to her calls. Surprisingly, though, she said most of those she talked to said they were undecided. We’ll see if that continues, but in an 80% red county, that may not such a great sign for ole barrel bacon.
  10. lol at the idea that exposing bigoted shop owners would to their demise. It is fashionable again to be openly cruel, and exposure is just free marketing.
  11. Yep. See, for example, Employment Division v. Smith.
  12. “I smelled an odor, which I know from my training and experience to be that of burnt marijuana.” Done. The only thing that really stops cops from searching every car they want is hiring intelligence caps.
  13. Inevitable once Junior passed away.
  14. Nah. This is just the 4th turning. I do a fair amount of court-appointed work. Those clients are docile and compliant, in the main. We treat them like shit with our policies, and yet there they are eking out an existence and committing petty crimes or knocking up 3+ fatties without a care in the world beyond their next high or hard on. When those folks are getting organized, then we'll talk about something incredible happening. We're just suffering through the growing pains of news and politics becoming a true 24 hr a day form of entertainment. CNN only started that fire. Twitter and Facebook made it truly a second-by-second affair. Who better to drive that business model than a man who can change stances within a syllable and lie about a lie about a lie before the first lie can even begin trending? New things mature, and generations tire of things that once fascinated them. This, too, shall pass.
  15. You contradicted yourself in two sentences. Any well-crafted prophecy allows for any result to prove the soothsayer prescient. The Boomers did bring dramatic change with their maturity. Lasting and terrible. Look on what they hath wrought and despair.
  16. I’m glad they are. Even if it’s for stupid reasons, fewer people need to be taking that drug.
  17. You may say I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope some day you'll join us And the world will be as one
  18. I would posit that the qualities of a supernatural being’s creations are reflections of that being’s essence. OU exists therefore God sucks.
  19. This should be on your challenge coin.
  20. He asks questions like aggy thinks a smart person would.
