OK, so first, you made up those numbers. Because if you used actual numbers, the numbers don't say what you want them to say. So you had to make shit up to win a stupid internet argument or whatever.
Second, it feels like you and too many others have this mindset that head football coaches have fuckin' Magical Fairy Godmother powers where they just wave a wand and, bippity-boppity-boo, all your team's problems are solved. And... this is not just a Texas or a Surly thing; look at all the hate Ryan Day gets from tOSU fans, and he's the most successful head coach in CFB currently.
Now, if you're reading that and offended that I compared you to a drooling, inbred tOSU fan, good. You should be.
Now on the OU Week thread I gave equal hate to the Polyannas who yell "IN SARK I TURST". I spend less time typing back to them, though, because they're an even dumber group of mouth-breathing dipshits than the "WHY DOESN'T SARK WAVE HIS MAGIC WAND AND MAKE THINGS BETTER" group you appear to belong to.
Of course we're playing differently in the 3rd quarter than we used to. Of course we've struggled on offense. Almost our entire offense had never played significant snaps as starters. They didn't, because we sent nearly that same entire offense to the NFL last Spring. So now that we have new personnel, it's going to take game-time snaps against REAL competition before they get good. And now that we have new personnel, the 3rd quarter behavior is different, because the personnel are different, and the way the offense performs reflects the group we're putting on the field.
The joy this season will come from seeing them improve from quarter to quarter in each game. The offense that played in the 2nd half against Florida was better than the one that played in the 1st half; the offense that played the 1st half against OU was better than the one that played the 2nd half against Florida. And the second half offense against OU... was getting really good.
