  1. Nope. Even the Seattle Times is reporting it, now. Either this a rumor that's gotten out of hand, or he really did fuckup that fast.
  2. or, learn multiple ways to do things, then switch between them based on what's best in context
  3. I'm here for the dirt.
  4. I mean, those aren't just laser pointers though, are they? They got other things attached n stuff
  5. you know that people still play violin, right?
  6. when's the last time anyone used a laser pointer for anything other than as a cat toy
  7. I'm too old for the real thing. Feel literally ill the next day. So I gotta do what I gotta do.
  8. Absolutely nothing!
  9. I get the feeling that nextdoor features all of the worst things about going to daily HOA meetings with none of the good.
  10. what interesting timing to see this thread pop up just now... saw this while driving my son around, and we think we may have just found his first car... ... taking it to the mechanic for a pre sale inspection, and heck... a 2007 with 135k miles for $7k? just a wee bit of a dent there? shit yeah
  11. Now you're making me realize that I want to do that exercise, too. And not just on the E/B strings, but on the B/G strings, too. Maybe especially on those strings...
  12. literally just googled it it's called a double stop because you're stopping, i.e. pushing a finger down, on two strings... vs having one or both strings open And yeah, dunno why, but it feels like it makes more sense on fretless strings like the violin than it does on guitar for some reason.
  13. I know we called em that back when I was learning the cello, and I think it made more sense to call them that on that instrument than on the guitar. A double stop is really just two chicks at the same time. I mean notes. Two notes at the same time. What I like about playing thirds that way is that there's a lot of benefits. One, you're learning the relationships between notes in the scale, not just the scale. Two, you're building new skill in your fingers that you can then use whenever you want to; being able to play thirds and shift between major and minor thirds, and at the right points in the scale, is going to help you be better all around.
  14. Texas man arrested in Indianapolis on accusations of stalking Caitlin Clark https://ground.news/article/man-arrested-charged-with-stalking-fevers-clark?utm_source=mobile-app&utm_medium=newsroom-share Awright, which one of you sick fucks was this?
  15. No, it's even better. He got beat because of a costly fumble. The doink was just the cherry on top.

i got yer blue origin right here
  17. https://athleticbrewing.com/ Best NA beer I've ever had. I'm particularly fond of the All Out stout and Atlética Mexican-style copper. Run Wild IPA is also very good. I'm trying more.
  18. Guys, 13-3 is a pretty goddamned good season. We were in the top 4 in the country, again, with an offense that was thrown together with duct tape and bubble gum after Ewers' best 2 WR targets, 2 amazing NFL-caliber RBs all entered the draft, and our stud #1 RB had a season-ending injury. Our defense went from a question mark to one of the elite defenses in the country, if not the best. It's easy to forget when we lose that sometimes the other team has good coaches and players, too. It's not like we lost to two shitty teams or anything. I still hold Sark & Co to the expectation that they'll win a national title, but damn, do you realize how far we've come in four years? He's not Seven Win Steve anymore, he's Semifinals Steve. Won two playoff games and made it to the semifinals. Defenestrated A&M in Collie Station. Depantsed Arkansas in Fayettenam. Beat the ever loving shit out of OU. Pretty damned good, and we're about to reload.
  19. strong words from someone who couldn't get his hairdresser to fuck him for $1.5 million
  20. I mean, to be fair, the Catholic Church makes Sandusky's little operation look like amateur hour. They've got franchising. What I'm hearing him saying is: He's scared of us.
  21. BTW thanks for doing this @Wulaw Horn! Even though I'm just here to shitpost Clubber Lang every week (and with my cardiovasculars the way they are, accurate every time) this is a great thing you do.
