  1. Texans vs Ravens: Ravens win close 49ers vs GB: GB has no answer for 49ers rushing attack I have been convinced. Lions win Chefs vs Bills: chiefs wr gets the ball right in the numbers for a go-ahead TD, then immediately drops it. Bills win
  2. I remember doing a research spike at work, when I worked for a web filtering company, on how to block Limewire. Man, lemme tell y'all, that was one really nicely-designed protocol. We'd have had to redo the whole filtering engine to be able to even recognize it, let alone shut it down. Torrent's even better. Also, has legit uses.
  3. ok, so... work with me here
  4. i wonder how small those controls would be on my 4k monitor
  5. honestly, ctj's rumor about deboer reads like auburn fan revenge porn but here we are
  6. why am i the only person dumb enough to think the bucs have a chance... if only because I just can't believe in the Lions
  7. What are the odds we get a DT while we still don't have a DT coach, and should I be rooting for the Ravens tomorrow?
  8. I mean, that's what Trump gets if they vote for him, yes. But what's in it for them? They're not giving themselves immunity. And they're not giving themselves immunity FROM Trump. I don't know if you've noticed this, but they haven't exactly ruled in his favor every chance they've had. Even if you've forgotten, Trump hasn't. And we've all seen what Trump does to those he think has betrayed him. What do you think he does to those SCOTUS justices if they give him immunity? My point isn't that I recognize this danger. My point is that federal counsel has all the evidence they need to put it in front of them. Your position here is kinda silly. Exception that proves the rule.
  9. "Evil" isn't a concept that exists in reality, though. "Self-interest," enlightened or otherwise, is. And you can chart where all these characters are pursuing what they believe to be their own self-interest. Trump wants to be president so he can pardon himself and make sure he's above the law for the rest of his life. That's it. If the state's attorneys are worth a damn, they'll make both the emotional and logical appeals. And not be limited to that. But it takes a certain level of deliberate willful ignorance to assume SCOTUS will align with Trump on this. Or absolute malpractice on the part of the federal attorneys. I live in SoCal. I assure you there are no cops here voting for Biden.
  10. Again: You do understand that the scenario I'm describing WILL BE PRESENTED TO THEM? And, again, the fact that Trump has already encouraged people to attack judges, so that it's clear that this is a thing that will happen to them. I'm not showing this to you to win an Internet argument; I'm showing you the sorts of things that those making the case against Trump are going to show SCOTUS directly if they're even slightly more competent than Habippityboppityboo. Logic has nothing to do with what I'm saying. It's an emotional argument: "Do you, the members of SCOTUS, value your own lives?" Pretending this won't be brought up or matter is just being deliberately obtuse. You and Brisket have embraced defeatism for its own sake at this point.
  11. And that's why cops LOVE Trump, btw. And will become his henchmen if he gains power again, the ones ensured with "disappearing" critics.
  12. You think they'd choose Trump's authoritarianism over their own health and safety? Interesting hypothesis. I am betting that they would recognize that they are literally allowing any president to have people shoot them with a ruling in Trump's favor, and choose life. Maybe I'm naive, but I think most of them would prioritize "live another day" over "give Trump absolute authority."
  13. Precisely. And they can point to Trump's own behaviors, riling people up against judges, as a clear example of what they'll be allowing.
  14. You understand that both sides get to present their cases, and one side is going to point out the Biden example you just gave, right?

    Applewhite Out

I mean, I would. But I wouldn't cheat on my wife over that. Or Applewhite's, either.
  17. No, he went into politics instead of pastries.
