  1. This might be my worst bump of all time. I'm going to attempt to neg myself. Doesn't work.
  2. It is the Idaho Wilderness in the Sawtooth Mountains again. It has been spoken, so it shall be written. Let it be so.
  3. Thanks. There's a 6:15 A.M. 1 Stop that lands at 10:15 M.T. in Boise that I may have to take instead, but worth it! And cheaper. Beating Alabama while in Jackson, WY last year was fucking awesome.
  4. Anyone have educated guesses on the Michigan kickoff time? I probably won't be able to land before 12:15 Mountain Time.
  5. I think a Director with a passion that was willing to keep the family (Kevin) at arms length helped more than hurt. A bigger budget might have given their fame the scope it deserved. But a family that has clung to the legacy for possibly too long, that hand picks a director to make sure the story is told in a sanitized way, may be the downfall of others, i.e. 'One Love'. We'll see.
  6. Youtube clip has over 4 million views in 24 hours.
  7. If you pay less than three bucks for a dozen eggs, you've never owned chickens.
  8. Superbowl chump bump.
  9. Correct me if I'm wrong, but back then you did not vote for the president. You voted for a citizen that was running to be a member of that electoral college. That person would have pledged that he would vote for a specific candidate. This potential electorate would stump and also be advertised in the local newspapers as well as be on that paper's pre-printed out ballot slate that a voter could submit. There were no potential electoral college candidates that were willing to pledge their vote to Lincoln because of the culture, lack of political machinery, no newspaper support, and the real threat of violence. So there were no options of electoral college candidates for Lincoln. The same thing happened in the North.
  10. If the ember of a song is an obvious vocal usage, then cut to the studio production followed by a short celebratory montage of onto the next bigger plane, that's what makes some biopics suck. I canceled some Valentines Day primo Alamo Draft House seats, but for other reasons. Two Biopics that didn't suck - The Doors, and Rocketman
  11. I feel bad for Joe Pyfer. Has a great perseverance story of child abuse, overcoming a devastating injury, and living in poverty. Shouldn't have gassed out against a veteran fighter having only once ever seen a third round before. And yes, you lost because of the relentless calf kicks. Live and learn. Claims to hit hard than Ngannou, not after 2 rounds on one leg.
  12. Anyone else just catch that Dan Ige knock out of his friend?
  13. MSSP - Matt and Shane's Secret Podcast is probably my favorite
  14. How do states not have the right to run their own elections. Succession talk to the side, I will fuck you up.
  15. Let's f'ing go
  16. I thought the trailer was awesome, but I sort of do get the worry that the cinematography of some of the indoor and smaller sets have a lower budget staged feel. But there also seems to be a lot of outdoor wider crowd shots especially shot on location in Jamaica. Fingers Crossed. I'm trying to avoid media, but this came up on a reel.
  17. Smartest guy in the room syndrome. I suffer from that as well. But one thing I'm grateful for is that I have been to hundreds if not thousands of meetings. I'm not religious, but I love AA, at least AA done well, which is most places. But to scoff at the senility or absurdness of others in the program does require you to put your butt in a chair, not Zoom. From there it's not that far of a stretch to think, "Well, I'm going to prove this is all bullshit and not a guaranteed promise..." Progress. Other solutions out there are will power, Religion, Naltrexone, The Sinclair Method, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, In Patient Rehab, Homelessness, Etc. But AA will always be there if can find and embrace humility.
  18. I was unaware. https://www.wweek.com/news/state/2023/06/24/oregon-legislature-criminalizes-possession-of-fentanyl-undoing-a-small-part-of-measure-110/
  19. I was unaware that they decriminalized Fentanyl.

    Eeeyyyyyyyyyyeeeee 👍
  21. 77 pts would be a lot cooler if he did. Finishes with 73 pts.
  22. Has the State Farm Arena scoring record, breaking Kevin Durant's mark. Breaks 70? 60 is his personal best.
  23. Nitrous Oxide would do the trick, and not cruel.
  24. SIAP, searched and skimmed 5 pages Bob Marley is one of the biggest cultural influences in my life and I don't qualify that with 'musical'. What some persons accomplish in such a short life span is truly embarrassing to me, but I am truly grateful for his message, for Reggae, for The Wailers...I could go on. Musical Biopics often don't take many chances of exposing fractures in the historical and commercial narrative. Fingers crossed. Premiered in Jamaica, opens Valentines Day.
