  1. Turtle Power! They're the world's most fearsome fighting team.
  2. I just caught my first case last week. In a weird way I was kind of excited to finally be included with the rest of the world, except for that fourth-ish day when I did not want to be inside of my own body. So much information will be playing out about the virus, the different countries based on the response or non-response, and the vaccines for many years to come.
  3. Had to catch up, but the last four were fun. Good for Derrick.
  4. @Patricio Swayze would have loved the grappling displayed by Chase Hooper in the headliner of the early prelim, but also the grit and guts of Borschev to hang in there. 10-8 first and probably would have been a 10-8 second before the mildly controversial stoppage.
  5. Rather good. Glad I finally saw it. I would have never based on the early trailers. But as stated it's not a war movie. Bullets easily go through walls and shit. Shell out some real money for authentic war machinery too, but maybe the military did not view this movie as advertising. Like SouthAustin mentioned, there were more realistic ways for the exact scenario to play out that was would have made more sense. Many subtle things and unfinished dialogue that could have really put this movie over the top, especially in the finale. No reason for the penultimate death to be so case closed. Unknown would have been just fine. But yeah, would recommend, but Violent.
  6. Luka's hurting pretty fucking bad. He's powering through it. Sure a lot of the trips and getting stepped on was shenanigans . But it's pretty obvious with the effort it takes him to get up sometimes or resting on his knees a little too long. Then add on top of that a bloodied good knee and a loose tooth. I admit, I barely casually watch the regular season, but he's a very tough whiner.
  7. They have a 'Losers' song, Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da? Do the Mavericks do that?
  8. :hookem:
  9. I was mad about Holmgren being a toothpick and falling flat on a rebound against Lively. But that blocking foul could have gone either way. If it was called the other way, would have stayed as well.
  10. How was that a f'ing foul? (Lively on Holmgren)
  11. This is old hack, but my problem with it is how long and how much of his attention he devotes to it. He will take off an entire play to make sure the ref gets it. I think it takes points off the board and isn't good teamwork. However, we might have just seen where it paid off on the pressure foul against Dort. I mind the flopping and flailing way less than actually stopping during play.
  12. That long three by Luca after the foul would have been a huge fuck you to Dort. Oh well, he's feeling it enough tonight.
  13. I don't know what this means. My game days ended, thank god, at the gap between Sega Genesis and PS. I wish I could say that I moved on quickly to finger banging, but at least I wasn't wasting my time away. https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/40113526/luka-doncic-dallas-mavericks-overwatch-2-tank
  14. Tonight? Tonight, the games tonight!! Sweet.
  15. Sorry, I don’t social media. So I’m unaware of the meme chatter. Are you trying to infer that Ivermectin isn’t an award winning pharmaceutical for human use or that it doesn’t have potential antiviral effects in humans?
  16. And he continues to insist on playing for the Slovenian National Team, which I believe he did again last year, but I could be wrong. His mileage might be much higher than other athletes his age with his professional experience and body size.
  17. Vague memory - she was at an 18+ club, had a fake id, and lied about her age. That was a weird sequence, but it seems so critical that he finds he's stroke especially given all this foul trouble and Maxi's injury.
  18. Anyone ever find Luca's antics a little tough to swallow? I didn't see a trip. He's definitely taking time to get off the floor, has a hitch on his first step. Gotta focus on these turnovers.
  19. @GhostOfTomJoad I'm no scientist, but if they liver is damaged or not processing alcohol effectively, it would seem to me that it would it would have no course but to continue to accumulate. I think it is a fairly common notion that severe alcoholics at some point seem to no longer have a chill zone. They seem to go from zero to blasted. Our window of being able to participate normally with the outside world or enjoy our drinking gets shorter and shorter. The body does produce alcohol naturally, but not at those levels. At least not that I've ever heard of. One of the questions that an arresting officer will ask is if the person being arrested has diabetes.
