Trump thought the president was a king. He has no clue what the speaker does, nor cares. If he is told that the position can serve him, then he will pursue it. People act like he's playing chess, checkers, or battleship, but he's incapable of winning at any of these. He's an oaf that eats hamberders and drinks his water with both hands. His handlers are the ones that direct him on the position, which is why everybody around him was and is complicit. He did not know the first thing about Executive orders, pardons, laws, Bill of and Constitutional Rights, or navigating the position of Chief Executive. He was guided the whole way. And if someone explains to him that the Speaker of the House is the most powerful position in office and oversees the president, then he'll become Speaker. But people still applying logic to any of this after the past 6+ years and counting, have learned nothing. The rule of law will only apply to him when it hangs or jails him, and not a moment before.
