Parker Livingstone
A taller Quan Cosby was my first thought. Not a burner, runs solid routes and catches the ball. I don't know how he is in traffic, but we'll see. He's a larger target, and not quick but seems to be fast. He seems to get open and catch. That will help also ease pressure on Wingo, just as much as it benefits him having Wingo get the top cover guys and double teams.

Nobody is going to double Livingstone, so he should be the recipient of Wingo's success.

Was wondering if Livingstone's time as a backup with Arch helped build their chemistry. Arch seems to feel comfortable throwing to him. Edit: cement--Livinstone's not going anywhere, unless he gets injured.

The Italy Thread
I'd do both. Maybe divide it up between touristy and then reward with relaxation. Water is super relaxing + food. Not many places offer the scenic + clear, blue water. But you are right, there are nice beaches in a lot of places, but their differences are the problem. If I spend 5 or 6 days in cities, I'm going to almost want that equivalence vegging out somewhere I'm not fighting for space. I'm a super early riser to see sites without people, especially since I know how difficult it is to wake up kids and feed them, so I try to use that time to do the touristy things.

Amazon seems to sell a bunch that all seem similar but vary in price. The pine shavings seem to seal the deal though. https://www.amazon.com/s?k=screech+owl+box&crid=3RVYDI5PBJFVK&qid=1757138812&sprefix=screech+owl+box%2Caps%2C119&xpid=4pQCAcmX8SyY1&ref=sr_pg_1

Did the color commentator just say that the Louisville runner "ran into a pile of dukes?" That's an interesting choice.

Alabama Football - Now Featuring Kalen DeBoer
It's not about coaching, it's about culture. Saban operated a program at an upper level, where most can't just step in and immediately gameplan while juggling player egos, family, agents and other teammates. Then there's the fans and constant press. It's damn hard to start under a microscope, and kudos to Saban for building it. Few can fit those shoes. It may not be immediate, but fuck it up and it may take longer to get a DeBoar type coach in the future .

Media/$9.95-er postgame analysis articles (Week 1)
Still early on Baxter to see how he's doing because he's still testing his knee but we gotta get a #1 rb. We're good, but not great. Speaking of which, so does tOSU. Just need a guy that can hit the hole with acceleration. Would've liked to have seen what others could do, but I also understand that rb's gotta work to get into a groove too, and maybe this wasn't the game to explore other options.

Texas Football 2025 - Seven Win Steve Rides Again
They both have shown difficulty making the easy throws. Now Ewers is pro, which means he showed scouts and in practice, that he could make those throws. It looks like he's calibrating his touch on those throws--either under thrown or blasted from a cannon.

Negative Recruiting Your Own School: The aggy Screenshot Megathread
Depends on who's coaching him and if he's told to run or not. Both Ewers and now Arch have shown difficulty throwing short passes short to midrange passes, that they showed they could throw all day long in HS. I don't know if their mind is focusing on multiple things at once, so that run of the mill, standard throws go to shit, but it needs to get fixed.

https://www.thisamericanlife.org/865/the-other-territory Sickening. I can't read these threads currently, because we are becoming the worst. Republicans are disgusting and Democrats won't do the right thing, which makes them complicit. Denounce what's going on with Palestinians in the Middle East. The whole Gaza Riviera idea is sickening. By displacing Palestinians, we are creating enemies, probably fanatics. We are creating fanatics that have a greater cause to serve in the only way they will probably know how, and give their lives more meaning than they currently have. And if we somehow think the rich have more consideration for the lower and middle American classes, we will be in this position at some point as well. It's morally wrong and repugnant on every level.

See how the season plays out. This is a playoff team, with some tweaks and more experience, potentially a champion. It's a team effort and the whole team had some costly mistakes at times. Everything we saw today is correctible.- LSU @ Clemson- ABC
I'm going to love their games against FSU and Miami, because they may have some difficulty--all of them. Georgia Tech may provide an upset or two. If this helps Texas remain in the top 10, I'll take it. LSU won't go undefeated, either.- Alabama @ FSU - ABC
They won’t go the way of Nebraska but they won’t have a choke hold on recruits in Alabama. Losses like this mean Bama will have to apply more resources towards those in their backyard. That not only opens their state a little more for recruiting, but helps keeps them out of ours. Like Texas, their game against Georgia becomes more of a must win.- #1 Texas vs. #3 Ohio State - 11am on Fox

I was curious to see if Arch was going to have a gunslinger mentality which requires short term memory and confidence. I think he will and will be great. If this is his worst game, that's not bad. Sark's got to get better too. We need a returner, or to work on our return game, is another blip.- #1 Texas vs. #3 Ohio State - 11am on Fox

Arch will get more live repetition with his receivers, which is great for chemistry. They're glorified scrimmages, and the offense gets a chance to gel and work on combinations. The defense will build some trust and confidence as well, since they'll be working for shoutouts. I think Texas should then roll Florida and discover they're pretty damn good, and then everything builds towards Georgia. Get beat by Georgia, and we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. Hopefully, Texas survives with dings up to then. - Official Coach Sark Thread of Dominance—haters back off
