  1. They did.
  2. I'd still run Quansah out there next week. The only way he gets better is to have to see this week to week. Then you can decide his place.
  3. Yep. Quansah is not ready for prime time.
  4. VvD. Eat shit Chelsea FC
  5. The story of your life at LFC, Nunez.
  6. This is kind of a necessary evil so Slot can point to what's not going to work going into next season and what positions they will need to purchase. Cody got balled with the ball. Lazy pass by Bradley. That's not going to cut it.
  7. Spectacular dive to get a penalty by Newcastle. Nice. Waived off by VAR and a yellow for diving.
  8. And on the match after we won the championship, Grav rests. @JamesPearceLFC #LFC line up v Chelsea: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Quansah, Van Dijk, Tsimikas; Endo, Jones; Salah, Elliott, Gakpo; Jota. Subs: Kelleher, Konate, Diaz, Szoboszlai, Nunez, Mac Allister, Chiesa, Robertson, Bradley
  9. Isn't "Shedeur don't take no backseat to any QB" a double negative meaning Shedeur actually does take a backseat to any QB?
  10. Even in a down year, City have a chance to finish or tie for 2nd.
  11. Black Bag is streaming on Peacock now. Definitely a great chance to watch one of the best movies of the year.
  12. Once again, you come in and regale us with your Techtard brilliance.
  13. Corporate synergy right now on NBC!!!!
  14. Didn't they sign the goalkeeper of the future last offseason? I think he's being lent out. I think Diaz is gone because they can get a decent amount for him. I wouldn't mind if he stayed but he's been eyed by Barcelona for a while. I know their finances are bad but when has that really stopped La Liga clubs from getting what they want. Replacements for TAA and Andy are a must but I fear they'll lean on Bradley for one of the assignments and get a cheaper replacement for TAA instead since Quansah is not the guy yet. A new striker, new midfielder at a minimum.
  15. Disney doesn't care about THIS series making money. It is reported to have cost more than any of the movies in the entire history of the franchise. I think one report was 650 million since it's like shooting 4 movies in one season. They will never make that investment back and they seem perfectly fine with it. This is no different than a prestige film that isn't going to make it's production back. They absolutely care about the movies making money hence Mandalorian being a theatrical experience now. That's why they switched from TV that will never pay back what they need but filled a hole due to Covid that's now gone. But let's be honest, Star Wars absolutely does not lend itself to anything like this. It took a special writer with vision to make a series like Andor. And that only happened because he was asked to clean up a flawed movie. Then he was asked to treat a series and fundamentally changed it from a buddy heist series with a robot to what he made it into. It also took Lucasfilm and Disney having the balls to greenlight a 2nd season when they knew it would lose them money to do so. There will be nothing like this again because Star Wars was never designed to be something this deep on a human level. It was laser swords and space wizards. That is what people want to see. That's why the Mandalorian is more popular. It's the traditional Star Wars that all the nostalgia bones tingle for. This is more adult. That's never going to catch on as well as what's come before. It's also a bottle series. It has a definitive beginning and end. It's not open ended like everything else. It's not going to spawn sequel series. It is done and that's why Gilroy can go for broke with it. Bitch about Disney all you want but Disney is also who greenlit this. We will never get anything else like again it because this is a black swan. Instead of being a whiny buzzkill, just enjoy what we're getting.
  16. Danny Farquhar and Showless Jew Jackson.
  17. The Watch does a really good breakdown on the last arc. I normally don't want to listen this intently to breakdowns of content I watch but there's so many layers to Andor and the writing that it's great to get this kind of detail. Gilroy has really built this show on show much history that's come before like the French resistance, double agents, and propaganda. https://open.spotify.com/episode/178MGIi610urK95yhGmVUL?si=c152a40888cb44d3
  18. There won't be any more of these from Disney+. Ahsoka season 2 is probably the end of the line for a while for TV shows. Maybe they'll do some one off limited series like the SW horror series that's in production. Disney already flipped back to the theatrical model for Star Wars. That's why the Mandalorian is a movie now and not another season. Best we can hope for now is animated series like Maul.
  19. The great thing about this show is Disney absolutely doesn't care about viewership. This is all about being creative and having a prestige TV program. It's also about telling a great story and we've seen that's not always something that garners high ratings. I wish we didn't give a shit about ratings. I never heard about it when the Sopranos, The Wire, Breaking Bad, and Mad Men were in their prime.
  20. The last two were both really good. His house was the same one they did The Oner in, right?
  21. It's most certainly an IMAX-ey movie. Watch the video I posted on the previous page where Coogler talks about what you'll see if you watch it on IMAX. There are multiple portions that are full aspect ratio including a great part where the camera zooms out and the full image is perfect. He shot this with an IMAX 70mm camera.
