  1. Yes, because Bama replaced that head coach with another really good head coach that almost won a national championship with a Pac 12 school. You don't think there was some great roster talent still at Alabama after Saban left? DeBoer was a no brainer hire for anyone. Yet still lost a head scratcher to a shitty OU team that kept his team out of the playoff. And there was a point where the fans wanted him run out on a rail both last season and after FSU.
  2. Such as? I love when this board throws this out given our history of coaching hires has never had this be the case other than we almost got the guy we wanted to poach.
  3. I love when you guys watch the press conference thinking you're going to hear something that makes you feel better but really hoping to hear something that just makes you more angry.
  4. Who are you referring to and when was this posted?
  5. This seems to be a problem. Maybe the OC should try to fix this.
  6. No, that ship sailed when OU beat Bama and we got blown out. OU's defense isn't going to lose to Mizzou and LSU in Norman.
  7. Bama definitely looked like shit in their home loss to OU.
  8. I'm going to disagree. Getting blown out by UGA is a bad loss. The team looked totally unprepared in the 2nd half. At no point yesterday did I think we remotely had a chance to win that game even when we cut it to 4.
  9. And how did he do against Vanderbilt? I'll help you, 25-33, 328 yards, 3 TDs. But yes, post a game from 2 months ago when he's not that player any longer.
  10. Are you sure you're aware which are homes games and which are road games?
  11. Nah. OU is a good win. Holding your rival to two FGs and winning by 16 is a good win given all the shit we've endured in this series. Vandy would've been a great win if we didn't have a decimated secondary in the 2nd half.
  12. No, your point is bad. We play a lot better at home and have all season. We were the ones who jumped out to a big lead against Vanderbilt.
  13. Austin became Fayetteville?
  14. Click the first picture. Stepstool Sports?
  15. No, OU probably makes the playoff now after beating Bama. Only way they don't get in is losing to either Mizzou or LSU and neither team is going to do much against that OU defense.
  16. Solid half. First half was dogshit except for the defense. We haven't played a solid game yet against a team with a pulse. Sam Houston State does not count in any way. For me, I just want the dumb son of a bitch to run the ball for more than a quarter.
  17. Run the ball against a defense that constantly gives up tons of rushing yards? Sark:
  18. Yeah, it would be one thing if we were blowing out Kentucky and Mississippi State but we need Herculean efforts from both sides of the ball to escape with wins. Then we almost gave back a huge comeback to Vandy. We have no killer instinct outside of OU and as we've seen we caught them at about the best time imaginable.
  19. 2:30 kick on ABC Arkansas is terrible, we should beat them convincingly which means we won't because we can't beat anyone convincingly right now. This will be another struggle where another sub .500 team finds a way to have their best game of the season. Arkansas gave up 235 rushing yard to LSU yesterday, 230 to Auburn, 217 to aggy, 264 to Tennessee, I could keep going but maybe we could try running the ball against them? Silly notion by me but maybe that could help make beating them a little easier.
  20. Kirby's become to Sark what Stoops was to Mack. Yeah, we're not getting blown out by 40 but we're getting blown out 2/3 times we play them. We have no answer for their physicality. We have no answer for the little wrinkles that Kirby throws out. Kirby really gets how to beat Sark fairly easily. Of course, doesn't help when we beat ourselves with penalties, drops, and abandoning the running game. Kirby goes into this game the same way Stoops did against Texas. At least we avoid them for a year.
  21. Probably not happening. Best we can do is offer you the 05 doc on LHN to show you what winning the national championship is like.
  22. Yeah that was 20 years ago though. It was the greatest game we've ever seen but none of us thought we'd then sit through the worst period of constant mediocrity since the 70s-80s run.
