  1. No kidding. I'm more out of breath than the players are.
  2. Hitter's park, fellas. Of course, only if you have hitters.
  3. Weren't they also one possession away (Arky) from being 4-8?
  4. Don't know why they would be. I'm positive I saw a quick clip of a collie milker in there.
  5. Sykora did quite well. One of my first cousins twice removed was a later draft pick by Washington, and he signed for breadcrumbs in comparison.
  6. Or Chapman. Or Alvarado. Or Minter. Or . . . .
  7. Peña's the one who's better start getting it together, regardless of who else is out there. Goes for his hitting and fielding both.
  8. Well, that's that. When do pitchers and catchers report? I mean, if we have any?
  9. Their rally starts with a barely fair blooper by a guy named for a vegetable. I believe that sums up our season to this point.
  10. Those baserunners were distracting our hitters.
  11. This season nauseates me. So far, this game is only making it worse.
  12. Enough of these inept guys. Put in the ept ones.
  13. I'd say it's more of a chill chart.
  14. We've already scored here in the first inning. And as you all know, when our offense shows up, we're unbeatable. 😝
  15. You know, every so often there's a game like this. Depending on your perspective, it goes down as either a historic rally or a historic collapse. I really prefer being on the former side. Are there enough leaders and able bodies in the clubhouse to pull this thing together? It no longer feels like just a little rough patch we're going through. I doubt we become sellers, but that's mainly because I don't think we're just a player or two away...and we don't have that many pieces to offer.
  16. Just dropped by to point out that Pena is total garbage. He makes Maldonado look clutch at the plate.
  17. This outfit has a lot bigger problems than fretting over Brantley's shoulder.
  18. You know, I'm still a fan of the Astros, just as I have been since the late '60s. But managerial stunts such as you describe are making it progressively harder to take this team seriously. Injuries are one thing, but doing stupid stuff apparently just to do it is another. I'm on the verge of tuning out, and that's pretty sad to say.
