  3. Narrarator: xAI is going to build Grokipedia by mining Wikipedia.
  4. This will help cleanse the Zootopia 2 screening I'll have to sit through.
  5. Hey man, a certain group of people is trying to make it legal to bang or marry them, so....
  6. But you're still paying $80,000 for a "truck" that was designed by 12 year-old me in the 1980s after watching Damnation Alley (RIP George Peppard and Jan Michael Vincent) when that same $80,000 will get you a really nice electric Ford F-150 that can haul bigger loads. Or even a regular F-150 that is loaded. Or a really nice sports car.
  7. The former UK defence secretary called for making occupied Crimea “uninhabitable” and bombing the Kerch Bridge — to wound Putin’s ego. “I think what we have to remember is what motivates Putin. Putin is in love with the idea of dominating Ukraine, taking Ukraine, ‘Crimea is Russia’ … If you read his speeches of 2014 he compares Crimea to the Holy Mount. So we have to help Ukraine have the long range capabilities to make Crimea unviable. We need to choke the life out of Crimea. And I think if Putin will realise he’s got something to lose, it is not inhabitable or not possible for it to function, and that bridge, we need Tauruses in from Germany, we need to smash the Kerch Bridge, because that’s a statue to Putin’s ego, and I think if we do that Putin will suddenly realise he’s got something to lose.” Ben Wallace is quoted by The Guardian.
  8. Trump’s mockery of Putin was brutal: “I told him, you know, you don’t look good — four years fighting a war that should have taken a week. What are you, a paper tiger?” Medvedev wasn’t spared either. Trump called him “some very stupid person” working for Putin. The Kremlin took the insults stoically and didn’t even flinch. Nawrocki submitted a bill to the Sejm against “Banderism” — up to three years for public propaganda of the OUN–UPA. The EU will allocate about €2bn for drones for Ukraine — using frozen Russian assets. Orban said “this war is already decided” and that “the Russians have won.”
  9. Good thread about how Russia was replacing all of their agents that were expelled from Europe.
  10. So it’s like a Surly tailgate party on the water?
  11. It is a bit of a cascading effect so there is hope. I don’t know what critical mass in terms of affecting most Russians is, but it feels like we are closing in on it. It’s already impacting their exports which is huge.
  12. And the "Department of War" bullshit is just that - bullshit. Only Congress can change the name. So Trump can call it that, and Hedgehog can put new signs up around the Pentagon, but on paper it's still the DoD. But yeah, Venezuelans are going to have to die because Epstein wrote stuff down.
  13. It's already being shown on Russian social media.
  14. Nobody believed Medvedev's nuclear threats, because it's the same threats that have been made since the summer of 2022. Well, nobody believed them except our President.
  15. Same shipping containers that Patriots are shipped in, and similar containers have been photographed at Patriot sites in Israel.
  16. Electric vehicle tax credit ends today. That explains why Tesla was trying to clear inventory out over the last two months.
  17. Are you saying that most people can't fit in clothes they had 30 years ago?
  18. You need to get yourself a dash cam to either protect your ass when you run one of them over, or to start putting their shit on blast.
  19. This is apparently based off of Russian social media claims, but a current map of reported outages Meanwhile
  20. Somebody posted a map from the 1840s showing Crimea/Odessa as a part of "Southern Russia", so somebody posted this nice little map of Ukraine in the 1640s. Beauplan Poland XVII map - General Map of Ukraine - Wikipedia
  21. I'm sure when Russians are picking up their coffee can's worth of fuel at the handful of gas stations still open, they'll be thinking "WE ARE PREVAILING IN THE RIGHTEOUS BATTLE" lol. Like I said, he can push that narrative all he wants, but fuel rationing and shortages as well as overall energy shortages make for a helluva counter-narrative that the Russian civilians can't ignore.
  22. Ukraine will receive Swedish 4th generation multi-role Gripen fighters for the first time, — Deputy Minister of Defense Havryliuk The Armed Forces of Ukraine will also soon receive additional F-16 aircraft and French Mirage jets. He added that under the new PURL program, the first deliveries have already arrived in Ukraine, but the volume and pace of assistance have decreased. Previously, under the Presidential Assistance Packages (PDA), we received aid from the US rhythmically and in larger volumes. Today's system, where European countries purchase weapons for us from the Americans, requires some time. The more links in the chain, the more time is lost.
  23. Russian propagandist Maksim Kalashnikov stated that Ukraine's attacks on oil refineries, gas pumping stations, and pipelines are no longer pinpoint actions, but a systematic campaign aimed at Russia's economic shattering. "I can state that the situation is deteriorating. The fuel crisis is developing now. The voices of those who say that they have to switch to rationed consumption using coupons, basically fuel cards, are becoming louder and louder," he said.
