  1. I wish my brain worked like this. Just completely incapable of drawing the difficult conclusions, despite being presented with more than enough evidence to do so. Do I believe there are isolated cases of people impersonating my favorite football team to embarrass our university on a national stage? Most certainly, and those people are criminals and shouldn't be allowed to leave Gainesville after this weekend.
  2. People decide who they are voting for and then retroactively apply reasoning to that choice. It seems sophomoric to boil it down to this, but we really just need candidates with better "vibes" and mass appeal.
  3. If this were a novel, this would be the beginning of a powerful insurgency called the “Gnats” targeting those in power. In real life, this will not be a story by sunrise.
  4. He’ll have his own Barstool podcast by Halloween.
  5. This is what the industry calls “showing your ass.”
  6. 0-1 since receiving this “honor.”
  7. Friday afternoon at 4:30, that's how you know it's a good one.
  8. And to be clear to my earlier point - I have no problem with the product that the Bananas put on and it was an enjoyable evening by any description. My frustration is that our society's desire to unify and enjoy each other's company seemingly evaporates once you exit the ballpark gates.
  9. It's not terribly different than your average baseball game crowd, except subtract all of the businesspeople and replace them with the parents that log their 7 year old kid's little league stats into an app.
  10. There were 61 posts in a thread about leaders tying funding to ideological litmus tests before you chose to chime in. Remarkable which one jumped out at you as worthy of commentary.
  11. MAGA’s Top “Voter Fraud” Watchdog Votes in a Swing State. He Doesn’t Live There. A long paper trail shows that Jack Posobiec votes in one state and lives in another. https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2025/10/jack-posobiec-voter-fraud-pizzagate-maga.html
  12. The rage I will feel in ten years when our university is circling the toilet bowl and the same motherfuckers who are cheering this move are attempting to blame the Democrats.
  13. In terms of non-elected, non-power holding citizens, the libs of tik tok bitch has to be up there historically in the amount of damage she has single-handedly done to this country.
  14. They really have screwed up the structure of the game with how they punish losing tribes early on. A tribe loses an early challenge, doesn’t get flint or tools, and then keeps losing because they are starving. It happens almost every single season and makes all this shit quite predictable.
  15. If you wanna look me in the eyes and tell me that I have mischaracterized the political leanings of the 20-something white male baseball playing population, I’m all ears.
  16. I mean it’s like objectively not.
  17. Thankfully for Oklahoma, there's absolutely no precedent for an injured Heisman contending QB to rush a return from injury to play vs. Texas and then get re-injured early in the game. Nope, nothing at all to worry about here!
  18. I went to the Savannah Bananas game on Friday night in Houston. After the game, one of the players got on the microphone and talked about how the goal of the Bananas is for all ages and all types of people to come together and have fun. It's genuinely a wonderful idea, yet I looked around me and couldn't help but notice that likely 80%+ of the crowd (and 90%+ of the players) were almost assuredly MAGA and it made it hard to take the message seriously. I don't know how to put Pandora back in her box, but god damnit I hate feeling this way about everything.
  19. The Tylenol announcement has nothing to do with curing autism and everything to do with being able to claim that he cured autism. He’ll just add it to his list of grievances, along with inflation and the 10+ wars he’s stopped as things people don’t give him credit for, ignoring the obvious fact of them still existing.
  20. Judging by the headlines across the board tonight, I'd be willing to bet Tylenol's lawyers got ahead of this story with a few carefully worded "if you dare publish this shit" notes to various media companies.
  21. Whenever John Roberts has had enough of KBJ.
  22. Our forefathers could never have imagined a Supreme Court this partisan.
