  1. Buzz very publicly trying to leave aggy and then getting immediately rejected is by far the funniest possible outcome.
  2. Extension of spring training so far.
  3. Good god man, what do you get out of this?
  4. That moment profoundly affected me, 18 hours later and I still can't get it out of my mind. Feels rare these days to see pure, unabashed kindness like that highlighted.
  5. Joe for President.
  6. Are you trying to tell me that there's a rule where Republicans are supposed to be punished for speaking negatively about people like Biden, Pelosi, Warren, Schiff, AOC & the squad, etc? On what fucking planet does this rule exist?
  7. Lack of shame and lack of empathy are the two most valuable skillsets for success in America today.
  8. If texags is any indication, “THIS ONLY REVEALS TIMES, NO LOCATIONS… NOTHINGBURGER!!!” will be the rallying cry.
  9. As often seems to be the case, he is EXACTLY what they claimed Biden to be.
  10. $12m guaranteed, $14.5m max
  11. If Trump decides he wants to "postpone" elections, there is not a single elected Republican who would publicly break with him.
  12. He sucks so much, but this feels ominous. https://www.reuters.com/world/us/us-postal-chief-dejoy-stepping-down-immediately-2025-03-24/
  13. To be fair, I'd be thrilled if we drafted someone who steals the job from him (and I'm not sure it would be terribly difficult.) I'm just saying that kind of financial commitment seems to indicate they think he's the guy this year.
  14. I'd be floored if we gave Cam Robinson $12m to sit the bench.
  15. Can't get over the emojis. They're texting about war like me and my buddies text during a Longhorn football game.
  16. The adults in charge are absolutely killing it, @realgreggym. https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2025/03/trump-administration-accidentally-texted-me-its-war-plans/682151/ The world found out shortly before 2 p.m. eastern time on March 15 that the United States was bombing Houthi targets across Yemen. I, however, knew two hours before the first bombs exploded that the attack might be coming. The reason I knew this is that Pete Hegseth, the secretary of defense, had texted me the war plan at 11:44 a.m. The plan included precise information about weapons packages, targets, and timing.
  17. Oh this movie is very clearly terrible. I was just curious why some folks seem so happy at this being the case. No matter, I'm sure I'll still be dragged to see it.
  18. The internet watching this episode unfold:
  19. So I haven't really followed the backstory, but it sure seems like the failure of this film is being very vocally celebrated by a certain... segment of the population. Without getting too CR, why did this movie become a right-wing target?
  20. Haven’t seen what they are saying, but tbh I suspect it is the appropriate level of freak out given what we all just watched.
  21. For 8 out of 9 seasons at the end of his Texas tenure, we did not advance past the first weekend of the tournament. Not gonna go season by season analysis, but this either means 1) we were upset by a lesser seed or 2) we had a seed reflective of a team not in the top 20 in the country. “He’s a good basketball coach who raised the floor of the program” and “he had a string of completely unacceptable seasons that led to a justified firing” are not mutually exclusive, although to be fair, it is a more nuanced take than one generally expects at 2am on a message board.
  22. The one guy who SHOULD have been in the towers that day...
  23. All objectively true, but man does he have a punchable face.
