  1. Dibs on starting the “fire Espada” thread by tax day!
  2. I’m not sure what to think about this creepy AI-generated Tucker Budweiser ad
  3. starting rotation (with probable first 4 opponents) Framber Valdez (NYY, Tor, @Tex, Tex) Christian Javier (NYY, Tor, @KC, Tex) Hunter Brown (NYY, @Tex, @KC, ATL) JP France (NYY, @Tex, @KC, ATL) Ronel Blanco (Tor, @Tex, Tex, ATL) Brown/France/Blanco vs Atlanta…might want to leave the roof open to cut down on the LF window replacement costs.
  4. Ok it was near the basket , but still. about the 1 minute mark https://www.espn.com/video/clip/_/id/39756077
  5. Maybe it happens a lot but seeing him stand flat footed and hit a shot from ~12’ over a guy with his arm completely outstretched in Wemby’s face had me laughing pretty good last night
  6. Yep. I had to look it up as well. It’s because he somehow felt like a grizzled veteran in the 2019 World Series instead of a rookie that only had 11 MLB appearances up until that point
  7. But not as mostly to austin anymore: Once America’s Hottest Housing Market, Austin Is Running in Reverse https://www.wsj.com/economy/housing/once-americas-hottest-housing-market-austin-is-running-in-reverse-94226027?reflink=integratedwebview_share
  8. I really need to brush up on the medical side on this as to what they wait and see on. Seems it rarely gets better with time. I get you don’t want to out a guy under the knife unless absolutely necessary, but that extra year isn’t an insignificant factor either.
  9. My first ever Spurs game somehow and took my 9 year old. I think he may be a fan for life. I was shocked how in to it he was at the end (absolutely screaming “DE-FENSE” every time down at the end). well worth the scolding I got from mom for keeping him out past his bedtime on a school night he’s going to love seeing in the morning he was at a game where a guy did something only Jabbar, Barkley and Embiid have done before
  10. It’s all for show what are they going to say instead? “Yeah, I can see a case either way. The committee went a different direction. I can respect that.” booooooooring
  11. We lose more the following year too because of where we are in the luxury tax… when this window closes, it’s going to be slammed shut for a while…unless crane is just going to be old man Steinbrenner and continue to field the best team money can buy in to perpetuity
  12. Haha I’m glad you got that. I was at the old Busch earlier that season and—speaking of Clemens— was not as fortunate in the game I attended. Clemens took the L in a game Chris Carpenter pulled a Maddux https://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/SLN/SLN200507170.shtml
  13. Going to scout this to see how many of these guys are better than the cabbage, I mean garbage, we are trotting out there trying to secure a bench spot on our squad
  14. Kalas and Blum look….different
  15. To be fair, does anyone after the ~6th inning?
  16. First sellout of the year at MMP tonight
  17. If Yordan is hitting anywhere other than #2 tomorrow, so help me…
  18. 50/50 chance we hold a 12 run lead.
  19. I thought his stuff looked pretty good. got Harper on 3 pitches in one AB on three different pitches. 2 of the runs were on a HR by Stott that I’m still trying to figure out how he kept fair as far inside as it was running
  20. Been on my to dos to get that vinyl… so just ordered it.
  21. Apple TV Friday night baseball announced through June. we get the first two weeks (March 29-Yankees, April 5-at Rangers) and June 28 (at Mets)
  22. I got it just by the stance before hitting play
  23. March 6: RHP J.P. France faces hitters for first timeFrance faced hitters for the first time this spring on Wednesday when he threw 20 pitches in live batting practice. He reported to camp with shoulder inflammation, and he has been steadily ramping up his throwing program. The Astros expect France to be ready for the start of the regular season and slotted into the rotation. March 5: RHP Forrest Whitley still a no-throwWhitley has yet to resume throwing a baseball since his Feb. 24 live batting practice session was scratched. Whitley was diagnosed with a strained middle finger on his right hand. The Astros' former No. 1 prospect, Whitley has had a history of injury problems and came to camp this year vying for a spot in the bullpen.
