He's the worst kind of asshole. He's an asshole whose sole motivation for being an asshole is so that other assholes will like him. So of course he has to anti-virtue signal.
I haven't looked at Thompson's article or listened to the podcast, so he may address this, but from personal experience with these people, anyone who hasn't come around since Spring would just move the goalpost once the FDA approves. These people have dug into the stupid so much that it's almost character defining.
I've been. Drove through the park and hiked a few spots. Felt more like a really nice, really large city park than a National Park. I did no research ahead of time though, so there may be a lot that I missed. I would still recommend visiting if you're just wanting to get outside.
As someone getting back into card collecting as a hobby (versus as a serious investment), I look back at opportunities I had to get some cards I knew would become more valuable, but passed because I just didn't want to pay THAT much money for something that was "just for fun". I get the feeling Top Shots is going to be very similar.
I was going to add that maybe the communities experiencing violence are doing so only because they've been "kept down"/feeling disillusioned for a lot longer. But I don't know that I completely agree with that. But I do think that we can expect to see more violence from the disillusioned Trump supporters, as their disillusionment grows.
Disillusionment is a better word. Those other countries don't have a constant reminder that America is an exception, because here, you can accomplish anything as long as you pull those bootstraps hard enough. In some communities, that disillusionment leads to gun violence, in others it leads to Trump votes. Both of course create more problems than they solve.
Look if I get an email that says "I Love You", Im gonna open it. Maybe it'll ruin the company I work for, maybe it won't. We can't all score on Sugar Daddy sites.
I was thinking about this the other day... I'll randomly recollect moments that happened weeks (or even years) ago where I misspoke or said something insensitive, or even mean. I will literally smack my forehead thinking about my missteps. I've lost sleep over the bigger missteps. These people do and say the most horrific things. I once believed it haunted them, but now I know they don't lose a moment's rest. They go home, and sleep soundly, only bothered when they think there is a slight chance it could somehow come back to hurt them. They are truly sociopaths.
