  1. Pegula had a breakpoint to go up 5-1 in the third set, but didn’t break and then got broken the next game. So they are on serve, but Vondrousova is looking tough. Some long ass rallies. Svitolina has broken back. Swiatek is up and down, depending on her first serve.
  2. Svitolina just duffed a soft volley into the net as Iga was on the baseline and was slowly walking towards her chair for the changeover. It was then 40-15 and Svitolina didn’t get another first serve in for the rest of the game. 7 (or 😎 straight first serve misses with 2 double faults. She lost the game. And gave Swiatek hope. Now Swiatek is playing better. Is being more aggressive and is hitting her big shots in rather than having them float. She has completely turned her game around and Svitolina is starting to try different shit, because she’s lost her edge. Bummer.
  3. Headcase Iga just shit all over the Center Court as she was broken when serving for the set and then serving for the tie-breaker. Her fucked up head issues act is getting tired. She’s muscled up to compete with Sabalenka and to a lesser extent Rybakina, but she is still a classic WTA mental shit show when she feels the pressure.
  4. Swiatek just choked on a big ol’ kielbasa when trying to serve out the first set. Double faulted to lose her serve at Love and now is flailing on Svitolina’s serve at 5-5.
  5. Awesome that PSAT-XEA Academy was able to help him finish up his high school requirements this summer on such short notice.

This “Kid” named Jones is older than Jedi Robinson. Canada are the Mexicans of the Arctic. The 2 games in Nations League and the 4 games so far in the Gold Cup are the only 6 games that he has been a head coach in his entire life. In the Nations League, he led a team with by far the most talent to a win over the worst Mexico team in the last 30 year's, that fired its coach a few days later, and a mediocre Canada team with one star getting back into shape, and three to four other decent players. And both games were in the USA. In the Gold Cup, he has Tied 2 & Won 2. He tied a Jamaican team that is learning to play with each other and a weaker Canadian team with only one of its decent European players. He beat St. Kitt’s & Nevis, a country of 47K people that didn’t even qualify for the tournament, but was added after another nation was disqualified. He also beat the Worst Trinidad & Tobago 🇹🇹 team in the last 35 years. Again, ALL GAMES PLAYED IN THE USA. Why would any foreign club come after Callaghan? He was the assistant’s assistant up until January. I’m happy for the guy, but I wouldn’t hire him (yet) to run my club.

Ferreira is fine, he is just playing out of position. He’s not a striker and he sure as fuck can’t get on the end of any curling crosses sent through the air
  10. Absolutely ZERO reason for the clock to keep running for instances like this. Soccer needs to fix this stupidity.
  11. I’m not one to stereotype, but… …Are you referring to… Because if so, I’m not sure how that wouldn’t draw a red card.
  12. 1 Double Cut & 2 Single Cuts 4 total cuts.
  13. I’m shocked that the Jamaicans have a height advantage over the Fightin’ Mayans of Southern Mexico! 🇬🇹
  14. The Jamaican absolutely stomped on the Guatemalan’s balls on purpose. I can’t believe that that isn’t being reviewed for a yellow card.
  15. That was an insane match that was topped off with an insane tiebreaker. Women’s tennis doesn’t always bring it, but both matches that just finished were great matches.

Obviously we all want Fulham so that we have as many national team players playing together as possible. Like Bayern Munich over most of the last 30 years up until recently and Spain in 2008-12, which had over half the starting lineup pulled directly from Barcelona.

Landon is like Iverson. He felt that it only mattered how you played in games. He didn’t want to talk about practice. He didn’t jibe with the Euro mindset, especially the Germans’ mindset. Landon has shown over the last 12-16 months that it hasn’t mattered how (or if) he was playing with Chelsea, he was good to go in games. But even that Max Bretos has said that Pulisic could probably make TWICE as much money if he came back to the MLS right now. His team would pay him over $10M/yr and then his endorsement possibilities would at least match that. And he would definitely be playing every week. I think that he wouldn’t be as sharp, because play is slower.
  18. Just saw this after popping out of the shower.
  19. I have a gut feeling that they haven’t even signed one OT in the 2024 class.
  20. I was reading that as “The game went to penalties.” and I was thinking: ”I wasn’t aware that England was allowed to win a PK shootout.” So Balogun turned down lifting the U21 Euros 🏆 so that he could lift the CONCACAF Nations League 🏆. Southgate may be right when he implies that England didn’t need Ligue 1 strikers, but the USMNT definitely does. I am thankful that England is stacked.
  21. When you bring up “It’s far behind in diversity, food, culture…” A) Is this for how recruits view the city? B) How the school’s alums view the city? C) Or how the traveling fans view the city? Because I don’t think that those things impress C category at all.
  22. Chris Mutha-Fuckin’ Cross will make you JUMP-JUMP! He’s 72 years-old and look like he is in his late 40s and kind of needs to get in shape, but nothing horrible. 72 !!!
