  1. 11? Rookie. I did this exact same thing but as a 1L in property law while discussing some case about who owned a brooch.
  2. I'm impressed we found a third guy able to hand it off to Earl out of the I formation in 1977.
  3. Which was also the cheapest thing on the menu back in the late 80s, something like 1.99, so therefore that was my go-to order. I was there last fall and decided to try it for old times sake and well, I'm glad I have a little money now.
  4. Re Bert - Wasn't there some rule that if a walkon gets a certain number of snaps he counts against the 85? Or maybe I'm getting it confused with a rule that if a 2 sport athlete plays he counts against the higher revenue sport's allocation. Seems like this is a loophole you could drive a truck through for skirting the 85 man limit.
  5. If you're a poor like me and driving through SB with dogs, check out Douglas Family preserve. Huge off leash dog park with trails overlooking the Pacific and you can take a trail down to a dog beach right below it (Arroyo Burro Beach). One caveat if you have a retriever, it's on a cliff, so try to avoid the trails on the cliff side.
  6. I'm currently in Newport VT. This afternoon it was clear enough I could look across the lake and see what those sneaky Canadians are up to. Clear skies forecast for tomorrow too.
  7. Friend of mine waited on him at County Line back in late 80s. He tipped $100. Yeah, I know, csb, but he always seemed like a good dude.
  8. Your Eskimo brother is a badass. Props to him.
  9. Speaking of presidential offspring dying in battle, I'm touring Chickamauga battlefield this morning and just learned that Captain Samuel Jackson died in the battle. Though he was only a grandson of Andrew and also happened to be fighting on the wrong side. The historical record is spotty, but it's believed his last words were "Get these motherfucking Yankees off my motherfucking land."
  10. Well I stand corrected. So Teddy has 2, everyone else zero.
  11. And Teddy Jr. was well over 50 when he died in Normandy, so it's not like he was cut down in the flower of his youth. But that is an amazing stat. I wonder how many presidential sons have even seen action.
  12. Are we sure it's only imaginary?
  13. When Carolina was in the super bowl some smart ass reporter asked him about his third leg. The response was a very curt "next question". And that's why I'm glad I'm an old and nothing I did in college was recorded
  14. I played that for my teenage son once and he says G-reg was the best rapper of all of them. Spitting bars, as the kids say.
  15. I imagine revealing the existence of such information is already a pretty big breach of any confidentiality protocols he was subject to.
  16. One of my favorite classes at UT was ET Life. Had to estimate how many intelligent species are out there that want to communicate with us. You plugged in a bunch of factors/requirements but the final one was that they don't blow themselves up before contacting us.
  17. You young guys never heard of Jim Thorpe?
  18. Looking at that combine invite list, it's the first time I've seen Sam Hartman mentioned in the draft. Seems like that guy could be a purdy 2.0 if he gets in the right system. Or maybe I just remember him from qb1 as one of the non-douchy guys so I'm just hoping he'll do well.
  19. This right here. I did semi-early retirement (53 at the time) last February. My advice for people contemplating the same is quite simple-just time it right before the market goes up 20+%.
  20. I know the WV bullpen is shitty but 11.5 is waaay too many.
