I think Plonsky's contract is up this year. I don't know if that ends in May or August, but I bet there will be some type of announcement of her moving on to a new and exciting venture and how much she has done for UT and how much she will be missed.
CDC is going to ease her out of the way without pissing off a devoted portion of the LHF donor base.
With a title like this, you would think he was a character in an Ian Fleming novel.
There is more innuendo in this trailer than in a Bond movie.
"George, I remember that doctor's name rhymed with a female body part. Dr. West? ... Dr. Whipple? ... Dr. Bussey? ... Dr. Mulva? ... I remember!! .... Dr. Clitterhouse!!!!!!
The score was 45-10 at the beginning of the 4th quarter, but the coogs scored two TD's (one with 20 something seconds left) to make the final score 45-24.
I remember the majority of the students were down on the track taunting the coogs for a lot of the fourth quarter. The players all had their helmets on and they kept looking around like they expected a riot at any second.
Tommy Nobis
Perhaps the greatest Texas Longhorn football player of all time.
Forgotten by those who have neglected to vote him into the NFL Hall of Fame.
Ken Hackemack
The largest human being I have encountered. I remember standing next to him when he had a leg brace on. I am 6'1 and the brace came up to my shoulder.
Robert Strait
My freshman year I walked from Jester down to Memorial Stadium to watch Cuero play two different playoff games. Both games Cuero had a comfortable lead in the second half, they had the ball inside their own 20 on third and short situations. Both games everyone in the stadium knew that Strait was going to run the ball up the middle. Both games Strait ran the ball up the middle, broke a few tackles, and busted 80+ yard TD runs.
I thought I was witnessing the next Earl Campbell.
Yeah, he wasn't an actor....but he was better than a trained actor would have been trying to pull a Lt. Dan with the technology of the time.
The scene when he showed his fiance what his nightly routine consisted of, how he was totally dependent on someone else helping him, is one of the most touching in movie history.
