  1. Never owned a crepe myrtle. Very beautiful. Now that I live in the north isn't going to be anytime soon. There was an incident in Ohio about five years ago in which some kids cut down twenty-five trees on their high school campus as a senior prank https://www.dispatch.com/content/stories/local/2014/05/12/Marion-tree-cutting-charges.html Thinking about that still makes me surly but I wouldn't call that trivial. Anyhow, I was looking up crepe myrtles. They don't seem too bad. Or are they? I honestly don't know.
  2. Art Clokey. October 12, 1921 – January 8, 2010.
  3. Well, all fifteen seconds. Twenty tops And you're welcome! I was thinking of swapping Candy Popp for Jade Green in the Death Pool. Knowing you'll fuck up your life is thanks enough.
  4. 1. Her name is Jade Green. She was destined to be a stripper. 2. She spends a lot of time working in nightclubs as a spokesmodel. She is getting hit on constantly. That can make even an average looking chick start acting like a diva. A new level of crazy. Don't walk away. Run. Here's her Instagram page. Knock yourself out, pal. https://www.instagram.com/jadeslabyrinth/?hl=en
  5. Marilyn wearing Jackie Kennedy wig. 1962.
  6. That's it. Jacqueline Ades has an equally crazy twin also named Jacqueline who also takes a bath in her former date's house while he's away from home and sends thousands of text messages. Thank you for correcting me you fucking lazy bitch who didn't read the articles.
  7. . BANHAMMER! The statute of limitations may have elapsed but Beau Vine knew there was a previous thread or at least he should have. He commented on it.
  8. Happy New Year from your mom.
  9. No. Ha ha ha. We didn't sink the son of a bitch. This was a new technology. Aircraft carriers, which had primarily been relatively clumsy converted bulk cargo freighters, were replaced by faster purpose-built carriers which were succeeded by much larger, faster ships. The dreadnought was obsolete. It was soon realized the fleet carrier had to be much larger, armored, fast and agile. Agile to rapidly turn into the wind to launch fighter aircraft and fast to catch up with her escorts. Then there was the Washington Naval Treaty Of 1922 signed by the naval powers of the time, Japan, France, UK, Italy and USA, limiting construction of the number of battleships and aircraft carriers. Cruisers, destroyers and submarines were limited to 10,000 tons displacement. Hosho sailed a few sorties as fleet escort in the supporting role of "jeep" carrier during the early stages of WWII. Because of her size, she could only launch obsolete warplanes. Her flight deck was lengthened at both ends but the additional weigh high above the waterline caused instability in rough seas. Hosho was relegated to training ship status. She served as a transport to bring troops home after the war and was scrapped at Kyowa Shipbuilding in Osaka in 1946. Very unfortunate. I would have loved to tour that ship to experience all the changes she endured and compare the differences between her and later carriers such as USS Intrepid and USS Midway.
  10. 1922. Imperial Navy commissions Hosho, the first aircraft carrier to be commissioned which was built as a carrier — not a converted bulk cargo ship. Keel laid (work began) on the Royal Navy HMS Hermes on January 15, 1918 but the Hosho was commisioned earlier. December 16, 1920. Asano Shipbuilding of Yokohama lays the keel. November 13, 1921. Launched and towed to Yokosuka Naval Arsenal for completion. January 10, 1922. Completed after many delays caused by design changes. December 27, 1922. Commissioned. February 22, 1923. Landing sea trials begin. Displacement: 9645 tons. Length: 552' 0". Beam: 59' 0". Draught: 20' 3". Speed: 25 knots. Range: 8680 nautical miles at 12 knots. As she appeared sailing out of Tokyo Bay in 1922: Reverse view as she appeared in 1924 after removal of the island (superstructure) and relocation of bridge.
  11. . Remember that scene in A Clockwork Orange where Alex is strapped to a chair and his eyes clamped open while forced to watch films?
  12. I usually take a new invention called a gas can and put some regular gas in it just in case of the event I run out in the middle of my driveway then I'll have some with me to fill the blower back up rather than loading it...driving to a gas station...fueling it there then unloading it and continuing on. Real pain in the ass to have to stop and do that which I'm trying to avoid. So. Gasoline for the snowblower. The salesguy at Sears was yapping about buying some special crap from their service department that was about ten times as expensive as regular. Same bullshit when I bought a Coleman camping stove. "You have to buy Coleman fuel!" Well, thirty years later and using gas station gasoline, it still fires up. I admit I have to drive about fifty miles to fill the gas cans with regular gas without ethanol once a year. After you've had to dismantle and clean the carburetors on the snowblower and lawnmower and snowmobile, it makes perfect sense.
  13. I currently live in Wisconsin. Where we test all the stuff like snowblowers and mittens and snowmobiles before shipping them to tropical places such as Minnesota. What is snowblower gasoline? Your snowblower does not run on regular?
  14. December 26th is the traditional Boxing Day in some countries. The United Kingdom is the best known to students of this holiday's history, the earliest mention being Samuel Pepy's diary entry for December 19,1663, that very same diary in which he described fondling a maid's breasts, acting like a seventeenth century Harvey Weinstein with another and keeping track of his masturbating. Boxing Day has nothing to do with boxing, the manly art of self-defense, or assembling corrugated cartons. In a couple of African countries and in Italy there are boxing matches but why quibble? One of the lesser known figures of Boxing Day is from the tenth century: Good King Wenceslas. The Feast of Stephen, or St Stephen's Day, is on December 26. The lyrics to the carol as published by John Mason Neale in 1853: Good King Wenceslas looked out On the Feast of Stephen When the snow lay round about Deep and crisp and even Brightly shone the moon that night Though the frost was cruel When a poor man came in sight Gathering winter fuel Hither, page, and stand by me, If thou knowst it, telling Yonder peasant, who is he? Where and what his dwelling? Sire, he lives a good league hence, Underneath the mountain Right against the forest fence By Saint Agnes fountain. Bring me flesh and bring me wine Bring me pine logs hither Thou and I shall see him dine When we bear them thither. Page and monarch, forth they went Forth they went together Through the rude winds wild lament And the bitter weather Sire, the night is darker now And the wind blows stronger Fails my heart, I know not how I can go no longer. Mark my footsteps, good my page Tread thou in them boldly Thou shall find the winters rage Freeze thy blood less coldly. In his masters step he trod Where the snow lay dinted Heat was in the very sod Which the Saint had printed Therefore, Christian men, be sure Wealth or rank possessing Ye, who now will bless the poor Shall yourselves find blessing. Good King Wenceslas assisted the poor. Although Wenceslas was, during his lifetime, only a duke, Holy Roman Emperor Otto (which is "toot" inside out) posthumously elevated him to king which is which is why e refer to him as a king to this day. But why quibble? The practice evolved to giving to the poor, then to servants a box containing gifts and food as a reward for faithful service and then into giving tradesmen a box as a tip. Former British colonies often celebrate Boxing Day as a national holiday. In Bermuda, Gombeys dance in a 18th century tradition of slaves being permitted to gather to celebrate Christmas. It is also a sporting day for soccer and a shopping day similar to our Black Friday ... but who knows?
  15. Turn off your fucking Tapatalk signature, asshole.
