What was he waiting on?
88mph, so he could travel through time to the end of the season.

Recently started riding and completed a 68 miler this weekend. I suck at going uphill. I've always known my core strength is shit. Anyone have a strength training regimen that would help? The internet is all over the place on strength training for cyclists. Wondering if anyone had any recommendations.
I'm a big dude, but climb relatively well. I have three words for you. Spin, spin, spin. Forget about trying to climb while standing, you'll use up your legs. Just spin an easier gear. As you gain fitness, you will be able to spin bigger gears, and those little rises that are making you lose your breath will seem like flats.

I thought the episode was done well, though having to read most of it was annoying. Whether it was integral to the plot or a means to drive the story forward really doesn't concern me as much as some of you. Sure, I want to get to the end at some point, but what's the rush?
I agree with those who feel that the lack of a protagonist is hurting the show. I am somewhat partial to Maeve, but that's more of a Thandie Newton crush thing than being able to identify with her character. I think we are clearly supposed to have sympathy for the hosts, but the writers have done a poor job of making us care.

Great episode.
So the wokeness explains why Ghost Nation didn’t respond to voice commands from Stubbs or Maeve. But it doesn’t explain why they were kidnapping humans but not hurting them.
To find the door.

Clearly, somebody needs to take this R2 unit to Anchorhead and have its memory erased.
He's definitely not the droid we're looking for.

The wheelchair hanging of the side kills me...
If someone had actually been sitting in the wheelchair, it would have taken it to 11.

The only player I can think of that I haven't seen listed is Kevin McHale.

I only live a half mile from Whitfield's, so thought I would give it a shot today. They opened at 11:00. I arrived at 11:30 to find 3 people in line. Normally, I would try brisket, pork ribs, and sausage on a first visit, but they apparently don't do sausage, so I was prepared to make do with the former two. It took 15 minutes for the first two people to order, while others were still waiting for theirs to be filled. No numbers are used to identify people. Casey has to simply remember who ordered what, which didn't appear to be working very well. Finally, the person in front of me was up, and was told that they only had 1/2 pound of ribs left, which he of course took. Seriously?
The sparse crowd eating on the premises, and the slow pace of service did not indicate that the place had been slammed since opening. It's possible one of the first people in line ordered 20 pounds of ribs to go, but even so, when you only have 3 proteins by the pound on the menu (pulled pork was the third), and run out of one of them 45 minutes after opening on a Saturday, you need to get your shit together. There is one smallish smoker on site, so maybe they are content to serve 20-30 people and call it a day.
Maybe if they had some decent sides other than pickled seasonal fruits and veg, I would have stuck around, but I left without ordering. The Whataburger I went and picked up instead was excellent. I realize they just opened, so I will probably give them another chance on a whim while driving home sometime, but for planned 'cue dining, I will likely drive the extra 5 miles to Valentina's.

I'm not sure if it is just HEB that carries them, but I bought some Arriba! salsa with garlic and cilantro from there and it has to be top 3 salsa I've ever had.

I alway get those at Costco and i did the same thing yesterday.

I hear you can get smaller packs at HEB, etc. Great heat. Comes on after the bite. Threw it on the smoker for about an hour while brisket was resting. Pumped some extra pecan on to jazz it up.
I indeed occasionally get the small packs at Central Market, along with some fresh corn tortillas. Heat in skillet until plump, put in a warm tortilla, add a strong brown mustard...simple and delicious.

dom was agonizing over who to take to final over donathan, laurel, and angela. he chose poorly. angela would have surely voted for him over wendell. not sure if donathan would have. either way when it came down to laurel picking the winner he knew he was toast. there was no way in hell she was picking him over wendell.
Yep. He made the mistake of thinking Angela could possibly win the fire making challenge.

Maybe her name was Heywood Jablome, and when he called her by name, she got confused.

He would have had to do it at the tribal where they voted off Kellyn. He still would have had a real and fake idol to play, and with Wendell out, would have had a decent chance to win immunity. Perhaps he was planning to make a move at one of the following two tribals, but Wendell won immunity both times. The only other reason to not try to take out Wendell is if he believed he could beat him, which very well might have been the case. Hindsight is 20/20, but I think he would have had a better chance of winning by making a move. We'll never know, because this was Survivor - Pussy Island.

Dom and Wendell made it to the end with their 3 person alliance. Not sure how they could have played the game any better (with this weak ass cast) It was a horrible season but they played it perfectly. The only big move they could have made that they didn't was voting each other out. And for all the stupid talk about past season runner ups making the wrong choice that was back when they actually had a choice. I like the fire making challenge but it's just another bullshit move to allow someone that would be voted off to stay in the game.
The second to last vote with the 15 different idols was just awful.
That is exactly my point. Not blindsiding Wendell cost Dom whatever the difference between first and second gets.
-
I think the most deserving person won, but it sucks that an argument could only be made for one other person. I've never seen a cast so full of pussies who were afraid to make a move, including Dom and Wendell.

When in doubt and choosing between a player who killed a person (even involuntarily) and a player who has NOT killed a person, it's always a good idea to go with the player who has NOT killed a person.
That's kind of a rule of thumb when selecting someone to represent your country.
You need a thumb? I can get you a thumb.

Google photo also has some nice little tools, like automatically creating panoramas from photos that it recognizes as adjacent or easily adjusting color.

Moyes had Ferguson's backing, so that doesn't necessarily mean anything, but I would have loved to see Arteta get a shot.

So BlowU and UT in the Big 12 Championship Game, I'd be down for that.
Not necessarily. WVU or TCU could be Big XII CG losers in that scenario.

I'm pretty meh too. It's not like Arteta has a great coaching pedigree yet, but for some reason I was optimistic when it looked like he was the leading candidate.
