  1. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/10/18/chargers-wont-be-leaving-l-a-for-at-least-two-decades/ TL,DR: the Chargers couldn't leave Inglewood even if they felt so inclined (or got a better offer elsewhere) until 2039 at the earliest.
  2. This is the best lot of commercials in a LONG time
  3. That's an ACL. OBJ is done.
  4. That last guy from Japan is sick of silver and clearly intended to win this competition right then and there.
  5. This is exactly the kind of rhetoric that MPD and their backers filled inboxes, airwaves, and mail bins with during the runup to the 2021 municipal election. This election featured Question 2, which would have dissolved MPD and replaced it with a Department of Public Safety. As for a potential charge, Man 2 seems like the right one here, but this will be a hard one. One thing that is for sure is that the Hennepin County jury pool is willing to convict police officers who kill civilians, having done so twice in the past year.
  6. This was written back in September, but it's still relevant. MPD asked for and got 90 (NINETY!!!!) no-knock warrants between November 2020 and the date of the writing. JFC, that's one every 3 days! https://www.minnpost.com/metro/2021/09/last-year-minneapolis-police-announced-a-new-policy-on-no-knock-warrants-since-then-theyve-asked-for-90-of-them/
  7. Last fall, the Minneapolis voters decided that paying eight-figure excessive force settlements was acceptable. And this thing keeps looking more and more fucked up. Not only was the name of the deceased not in the warrant, St Paul police originally applied for a standard search warrant, but MPD wanted and got an upgrade to no-knock.
  8. Acquaintances in MN who are Republicans have regularly shared the same meme. I don't even know where to start with this steaming pile of shit.
  9. Dak is the only QB in the entire NFC that is within shouting distance of the aforementioned 4 in the AFC. All of the others you mentioned are on teams that are either terrible or about to be. The AFC of the 2020s is going to be like the AFC of the 70s: one in which John Madden can go 103-32-7 and only get to (and win) 1 Super Bowl.
  10. Welcome to the party, pal!
  11. Brent Kavanaugh's stomach-turning confirmation hearing didn't turn anyone off to the GOP. If anything, it won them Senate seats.
  12. This. Make them field the ball.
  13. Holy fuck, what a game
  14. And that was noting that Buffalo was the best road team left going into the weekend. The Bills are the only team left with the horses to beat KC at Arrowhead.
  15. https://twitter.com/MPRnews/status/1485327929798275082?s=20 Man gets court injunction to stay on a vent. Family moves him to Texas. He doesn't make it.
  16. Gary Anderson misses his first FG of the season in the 98 NFC Championship and the 15-1 Vikings lose at home to the dirty birds.
  17. Finding the pearl in an avalanche of shit, COVID edition. The Met Council has been sampling and testing for COVID viral material in the effluent flow into the Pigs Eye wastewater treatment plant in St. Paul. This suggests that the peak in the Twin Cities was around January 10, which was 3 weeks after the start of the run-up here. This is a much better measurement, given that reported cases from testing are backlogged all to hell here in Minnesota. Don't fuck around with those that literally handle all of your shit.
  18. Shoveling shit in Louisiana has a nice ring to it.
  19. The only way he doesn't run is if he's dead or in jail/prison. His ego is too big. And the instant he declares, he clears the GOP field.
  20. TL,DR: He couldn't stand being called out on his bullshit so he hung up. There was so much mush in that interview that it could have fed the Russian Army for a week.
