  1. https://www.texastribune.org/2021/05/24/texas-house-national-anthem/?utm_source=articleshare&utm_medium=social Texas house voted to remove state funding from sports teams that don't play the national anthem before games, how is this not fascism?
  2. I also love Scarlet>Fire and 5/21/77 has one of the best.
  3. That’s a great show. I’m listening to 5/21/77 right now, Row Jimmy is one of my favorite Dead songs and I really love this one.
  4. It's not happening in Texas public schools and yet we still have plenty of moron parents here crying about it.
  5. We have to do whatever we can to land Miller, maybe if he's the clear RB1 in our class it changes the trend.
  6. I wouldn't pull his offer, I have a feeling that will work itself out if we land a replacement RB1.
  7. It has nothing to do with being "angry at the kid", but I'm not relying on him as the class RB1 if I'm Sark.
  8. It’s hilarious seeing people on here trying to rationalize this behavior as if “opting out” of your senior HS season because you can’t get along with the coaches is a totally normal thing that many successful college players have done before.
  9. If you spend a lot of time sitting around worrying about CRT then you're probably a racist.
  10. I don’t really care nor do I think that has any relevancy to what we’re talking about
  11. Maybe I’m wrong but I highly doubt “analytics” played a big role in this decision. I agree with you on the career argument when it comes to cfb RBs that are guaranteed to be drafted, but a HS senior is not in that position.
  12. I think a kid “opting out” of his senior season of HS football is a huge red flag. At the very least it reveals something about him as a teammate and his desire to play the game. I don’t agree that this is comparable to a cfb player opting out of a season because they have a guaranteed pay day coming. He was getting about 15 touches a game which isn’t a heavy load at all in HS. It’s ridiculous to say that a HS senior has nothing left to prove, there is valuable experience to be gained at this point in his development by putting in game reps.
  13. I propose that desire to play football is a pretty important data point when judging potential at the next level.
  14. It’s not about being “mad at Blue”, the kid is free to make whatever boneheaded decisions he wants, I sure did at his age. If I’m Sark I’m still going out and trying to find a replacement at RB1 in the class, unless something changes.
  15. What the hell?
  16. I got tix to the show in the Woodlands on the lawn as well, I’m so stoked!
  17. "more talented" is not the same as "better", from what I've seen at the same point in their development my opinion is that Ewers is easily the more naturally talented player.
  18. Section?
  19. Weird, I'd rather have the more talented player which is easily Ewers.
