  1. And rubbing his shoulder. Multiple times during the game. Throwing side arm which is less painful if you have a shoulder injury. Leaning to his left when he did throw over hand long balls which is a reflex to... a shoulder injury. None of which we saw prior. Again, I'm not concluding he had an injury BUT there is historical precedent at Texas to hide severity of health issues with QBs and there are a lot of factors that indicate it's a possibility. It could be all mental. It could be a combination.
  2. No he didn't. In the second he had one long pass to Sweed for 30 yards but it was a short pass in the RZ that scored the only TD. Yes, a pass in the RZ. In all, Colt had fewer yards passing than Arch with a similar miss rate against what one could easily argue was a similar quality defense in OSU. However, games are longer now so direct comparisons are difficult. One variance that should be noted is Texas did have an RB named Jamaal Charles, not that Texas ran him enough.
  3. I'm gonna focus on SJSU for now, cause the rest of this talk is bad for my productivity.
  4. Maybe someone should have talked to him about that on the sideline in the 1st quarter?
  5. Film Guy isn't overhyping Caleb either. I'd be shocked if he doesn't win the Thorpe and go top 10 in the draft.
  6. Sigh... yep. Goes back to my post on athletes on the defense side. When they equal or surpass Texas the results are frustratingly predictable. Arch's play was bad, and I think it will improve. I just don't have much hope for Georgia 3.
  7. Sark may have said "let her rip", but in the 1st quarter that damn sure wasn't in the script. It was an extremely conservative game plan early on. Not that it mattered because the "adjustments" were the same as OSU 1, Georgia 1 and Georgia 2. Which... all had similarly predictable results.
  8. The degree and continued issues were absolutely hidden. Ewers himself openly discussed this post season.
  9. Arch aside for a moment, defending Texas offense, comes down to athletes. Georgia has written the script and OSU copied it twice. If you have the players, just copy that game plan, rinse, repeat. We will absolutely see the same game plan against Georgia. Not sure Florida has the athletes to accomplish it, but they will try and so will OU. This is much more a issue with Sark than our QBs and it's becoming a really bad habit.
  10. He admits mic issues in his note. Yes he does.
  11. He also talks about Sark's predictable tendencies in this video.
  12. His throwing motion will. If he continues the side arm action, which wasn't seen prior, he's been coached that, or he's injured. Neither of which is great.
  13. That's fair and why I have both not talked much about it and admitted it was purely speculation. However, you do have to agree their is historical precedent with this staff to hide QB injuries, if you believe Quinn. It's also possible it was a combination of mental and physical. Can you explain his sudden inability to not hit easy passes and alterations of his motion purely on mental issues? Perhaps. Occum and his razor would tend to agree. However, the massive degree of change could indicate otherwise. We do agree that additional evidence is needed, but I think calling it tin foil hatting is as closed minded as insisting it's 100% injury or any injury at all, which I haven't at any point.
  14. 1) You have nothing to support that. 2) We did the same with Ewers despite the unreported severity of his injuries. 3) Why did they hide it with Ewers? 4) Are you in the weight room? Are you watching practice? No. You aren't and you're just making shit up.
  15. One of the biggest, consistent, knocks on Sark is his desire to force his will offensively rather than take what the defense is giving him. This is not just at Texas and not a singular media source.
  16. And you know this how? Were you aware of the extent of Ewers ongoing health issues last year? Didn't see you posting about it, but might have missed it.
  17. I've been really quiet on this, but a PT in my circle noted it looked like it was and throwing over the shoulder is much more difficult than side armed. Based on Ewers injury being carrying on for far longer than we were lead to believe, and the performance, it would explain some truly odd aspects. It's pure speculation, but there is logic and historical evidence to support it.
  18. This will all, some how, end up being Texas fault. I'm here for it!
  19. Well, likely that and there's been no discussion on Arch's performance against OSU on this forum. Someone should start a thread or something.
  20. Shit tons of extreme gratuitous violence clearly done with a tast for the dramatic. Some ridiculous CG showing insane car and air stunts. Likely a thin vengeance plot. This movie appears to be a action for the sake of action movie created for stupid Neanderthals that enjoy such tripe. I'm 💯 in on this amazing looking film.
  21. Loved his work. When an actor passed that I like, I always look up their film history to see if there was anything I may have loved and forgotten. 180 credits in total. Graham kept very busy and I enjoyed his performance in just about all of them I watched.
  22. I have an hypothesis. I don't think Billy gave or gives one shit about UNC football nor how they perform. I think Billy had already grown sick of his 7 hot sugar baby and found a way to get paid to shop for a new one with access to a huge pool of talent. I applaud his creativity. The conspiracy is real.
  23. I'll do you one better. If, and it's a big if, we seem marked improvement from Arch, which I firmly believe we will, I'm not sure who I would pick if these teams face one another in the CFP. Obviously, it will greatly depend on the rest of the seasons results. Let me parse it a different way. If the teams play in 4 weeks after both the easy games on the plate, I'm still not sure who I'd pick if Arch shows marked improvement in that time.
  24. Here's the most frustrating part, as a CEO of the program he's doing fantastic. He brought in one of the best CTO's in the nation in PK. He aligned with the board president CDC on the best CMO and CFO. The VP of HR is excellent at assessing, hiring and keeping the best talent. All of his VPs and middle managers are great. Problem is the COO is, in broad strokes, doing really well on the offense, but the CEO keeps sticking his fingers in the mix and it's messing up specific issues in operations. Namely, the close out sales process with whales, or RZ in football terms.
