  1. I've never heard of South Austin, Vietnam. Is that located in the Mekong River Delta?
  2. Eye shot with a slug, maybe, but my tomahawk or chainsaw is the optimal choice. That said, .410 bird shot to YOUR knee is certainly going to allow me to out pace you though.
  3. Dammit that brought back good memories! Thanks!
  4. Getting more engaged in Ukraine against Russia has a shit ton of upside for the US economically and otherwise. It also helps to weaken Chinese influence by perception if nothing else. Which... isn't that a positive for the current administration? If the powers that be can't get their voting block behind combat efforts against the Russians they've got way, way bigger issues. Let me rephrase, getting US Republican voters behind military spending against Russia is/was something a democratic presidents could/did accomplish... it would be historically odd if the current administration couldn't.
  5. Moved my squirrel .410 next to the door, bought a big bag of dog food, checked the propane tank levels, went for a jog on my land with the dogs. Can't beat the zombies if you can't outrun them.
  6. Didn't Aussie's start out on 6th street? I definitely recall some volleyball courts 1 or 2 in the back area of a bar... but... it was the 90s and I've had a head injury or 2 since.
  7. They can and always will live vicariously through the victory of others over the Longhorns because... that's their only option.
  8. Arguing with or getting angry at an aggie is as productive as arguing and/or getting upset with flat earth idiots or Scientology person (Scientologist?). Their myths and rhetoric is so ingrained into their minds that all you end up doing is wasting time and energy. Just ignore them, nod at their comments, and get away from them as soon as possible. Sure, aggie Chad, I get it. Your thetan guided you to college station because aggie grads basically stormed the beach alone in Normandy. Of course Sul Ross was a hero for being the first to debunk the myth of a round planet and is an amazing human being.
  9. I went back and looked at prior purchases. Not sure where I came up with $10, but in fairness to me I was responding to a post talking about the expensive nature of healthier foods, iirc. I double checked and I am paying around $6-7 for 4 oz bags or about $2.70 for 1.33 Oz bags in packs.
  10. Yeah, I don't want to hate but his face doesn't project um... "kindness"... from me...
  11. It was a real, real short window. When he did have a full game Arch performed great. Putting someone in for 2 series against a top competitor, isn’t much of an opportunity. And the person Sark replaced him with in the 3rd, didn't end up prevailing that time or the next. So.. I have and continue to maintain, at the time and now, Sark chose for a lot of different reason to sacrifice the longer term future of the program for short term reasons. There are a ton of factors involved in Sark's choice. We will never know all of those reasons, but he is responsible for that choice and other choices not to use Arch in more developmental ways post Georgia1. I honestly put way more of the blame on Sark than Ewers, and I would hope most would understand why.
  12. Yeah it really dont make a shit but here are screen shots. I'm truly disappointed in you as I lobbed up some softballs of beauty that you scrolled right past. I expect better from you!!
  13. What is this Silver Line thing you refer to in your post. I feel like I'm pretty up on ride share app and I've never heard of such a thing. There was a Orange Line ride share in Chicago from downtown to the airport... but that was, ya know, the El.
  14. I am shocked based on aggie historical news
  15. Yeah, broad strokes is our president says lotsa dumb things. IMO, this one was a reach to tie into this thread which is overall a great thread. Not hating on @956 Worldwide cause most of his posts in here are great, but if we post all stupid shit said by POTUS in this thread that has any Russia connection well...
  16. If you have someone on ignore and someone responds that to that person, you see the comments of the person you have on ignore. Pretty sure that's what he was referring to in his post.
  17. I truly apologize. Interesting subnote, she drives a bitchin' Camaro that she bought in the Bahamas.
  18. In the case of Surly I dont think its always ones own race, but either way, to this point there has been zero evidence, from any source that race played any factor. In fact, the father of the white victim told the Proud Boys or whatever group of racist, race baiting assholes to STFU. But here we are... of course.
  19. Chainsaw is a troll or has some actual mental issues. Not sure which but the best course of action is just ignoring them.
  20. Race baiting. Lots and lots of race baiting. Cause 100% of everything that happens between a white and black person is 100% always about race.
  21. Next thing you know someone here is going to claim the accused was a transitioned little person and this was the case of a lesbian midget albino Eskimo that loves Susan Vega that was defending themselves from rape.
  22. Yeah, if NOBODY (in mainstream media) is even asking about the criminal background of the accused father, why is their supposition that we'd be asking about the victim's dad, were the victim black. Jesus this thread keeps getting dumber by the page.
  23. @Hook1997 My best guess is given how great all the financial news had been and the fantastic response of other action in early office our leader needed a win/distraction. He tried he standard bully tactic both with Putin and Zelensky. Figured one would cave cause bullies gonna bully. Didn't factor in Putin might be more of a narcissistic sociopath than himself nor caving would in essence destroy the Ukraine. Had to come up with something to create positive news and MAYBE, I hope, (its a dangerous thing) that he's come to the realization you can't bully a narcissistic sociopathic dictator into something he doesn't want to do.
  24. Not my personal experience at all. My experience is admittedly limited driving a family vehicle but the sound on the receiving end was fine in the calls I made. Have you ever actually ridden in one? The wind noise inside is near zero. Was his window rolled down? Does he have the same issue with everybody? Bit of a logic leap to conclude the wind noise is terrible in a vehicle based on a call with one friend is his work truck, but it that's Surly for you. Edit - but in fairness I've never gone 555 mph in one. So... mileage may vary.
