  1. All sushi is frozen so you can have a great sushi restaurant anywhere.
  2. I believe that Bill O'Boyle, the OL coach, is the one who got demoted/fired (haven't heard which yet). Lewis remains as co-OC, but Shurmur is calling plays, at least this week.
  3. I liked them at the time. Still would rather have Lewis than Shurmur.
  4. Honestly, Lewis was never a good fit for Shedeur and knowing what I know now, I'm surprised that's who Prime picked as his OC. Lewis' offense at Kent State was lots of RPO and Shedeur is a pocket passer. Not thrilled about fucking Shurmur, though. I had to watch his dogshit offense in Denver the last 2 years, and I hate it so much.
  5. Where are you building? Costs in the CO mountains are through the roof right now and not coming down - they're still going up. I'm probably stupid for not waiting, but I've been waiting for years and they don't come down, so I plowed ahead.
  6. You need to talk to a real estate attorney. Did your architect (or you) hire a structural engineer to sign off on the plans?
  7. Yep. Plan is to be dried in by the end of the year. The fucking county cost me 2 months of summer building time with stupid bullshit. So now we get to pay to frame in winter. The fucker at the county cost me at least $50-100k so far.
  8. That would be bad, but Greg Maffei is a gigantic asshole so it wouldn't surprise me.
  9. Gorgeous, troph. You need a wood basket/bucket of some sort, though! Can't want to be able to post my pictures this time next year. My mountain house is currently a framing skeleton. They've poured the new foundations and torn off all the siding and demo'd the interior. Framing supposed to start next week for the additions.
  10. Yeah, you need to recruit OL from high school and they need time to develop. The portal works well for skill players. Not so much OL.
  11. I thought it was at your house. If it's at the parents' house, I fully agree. Let the fireworks fly!
  12. Maybe this would be a good time to let brother know side chick is not welcome?
  13. What about Deion makes you think he believes he's a victim in any fashion?
  14. Well, the bad OL play caused the loss, so they're the same thing in this case.
  15. I absolutely love it, but you need to go in with your eyes wide open, otherwise you won't last long.
  16. Yep, Fraser is one of the coldest spots in the lower 48. The town sits at the bottom of the valley like a bowl, so the cold air collects at the bottom. I've seen temps down to -40* at my house. But really, only Dec and Jan are super cold. I tried to get the wife to move to Durango before we bought our place in Fraser. Too far from Denver, so she said no. Fraser is a great place that is close enough to Denver to go to Costco, go see the Dr, or just get out of the mountains for a bit, but it still feels like a small town most of the time (only 15,000 residents in Grand County). And I'm 15 min from the Mary Jane parking lot and 1.5 hours to Steamboat and the Summit County resorts (and I can get to Silvertorne without getting on I-70).
  17. The pinpoint accuracy of the pass was unreal. One handed, 3/4 court and he put it right on the money. Even for him, that one was amazing.
  18. Don't leave out @PenelopeWitherspoon. Jenna loves her and she loves Jenna.
  19. I've had a second home in Fraser (near Winter Park) for several years and we are in the process of remodeling so it can become our primary residence (but we are keeping our Denver house so we can still get away if we want to). Lots of good info so far in this thread, I'll add my two cents. You're spot on with your concerns so far. Winter lasts from now until May. If you don't love the snow and getting outdoors in the winter, you'll hate it. Cabin fever is a real thing. The communities are very small and it takes work to make friends. We are very fortunate that we love our neighbors and they have introduced us to several of their friends. I have also volunteered and joined a board of a nonprofit based in Grand County. It will be harder to get together with your friends, but if they like skiing, they'll likely want to visit and stay with you. Everyone wants a friend with a mountain house. Even in resort areas, dining options are not even close to what you're used to in Denver and the good places are very expensive. Finding medical professionals is challenging, and health insurance can be difficult to get if your only address is in the mountains. We will keep our Denver doctors and come down when we need to see them. You really need to love the mountains because it's not all sunshine and puppies, but I love it and can't wait until we're there full time.
  20. Nothing is under the radar anymore, dude. Especially not places 30 min from Boulder.
  21. Yeah, probably. He was fast for all of quali, so I'll hold out hope, though.
