  1. Been on the Gulf side but family is on the Atlantic so... Also @locodos fully agree with LBS. It is a very underrated but fantastic little town. Was packed in Monday night.
  2. Dubois Park and Jupiter was an excellent suggestion. We started the morning in the lagoon and then made our way across the parking lot to the beach to play around in the waves. Ended up eating at Guanabanas was that amazing view and vibe. Afterwards we drove for maybe 15-20 minutes and Jupiter looks like a great area in general.
  3. If one of the "choises" is lengua, the place is legit
  4. Amazing views for a bite and $5 margaritas on Mondays. Are they the best margaritas? Well, they're $5 and probably better than most $12 margaritas in Florida. https://www.guanabanas.com/
  5. Oh... man... prices in FL in general are higher than anticipated although its not like I'm staying in a broke-ass area. But even up in the Daytona/Ponce Inlet area. I feel like I can find cheap food in Austin. Was laughing at walking past a pretty basic looking restaurant on Washington Avenue yesterday and, as we walked towards Lincoln, I glanced at their menu board. Barbacoa taco plate for $28 !?
  6. Going to check out Jupiter today. Delray most likely tomorrow. Miami Beach was great yesterday - everyone should do the beach in front of Lummus at least once. Honestly, if you can avoid the more heavy party part of South Beach (around Mango's, etc), I like it. I'm talking further up by 12th/13th and up. Beach is pretty chill, less of a circus.
  7. Family told me lots of shops and stuff there
  8. My experience, too... I like seeing shows there. Good food (tacos from the truck are legit albeit overpriced), lots of space and usually good times. I'm a fan of going there for shows or the occasional wrestling match. Those are a lot of fun!
  9. There were several last week that said 38 and then 19. Must have fixed it. Still not a conspiracy
  10. Damn, dude. Scary stuff. BTW, going into July...
  11. June's looking niiiice...
  12. People look for a conspiracy behind every tree. Maybe its just a bunch of idiots. Funny thing is that some of those articles say 38 and then link to 19 in the story. And they also count things like people drowning while out paddleboarding. People see the headline and immediately assume every one was mysterious.
  13. That looks like a cool place
  14. Any suggestions of good beaches within an hour of Wellington, FL? I've been as far as Lauderdale by the Sea and Boca. What else is around there. Something chill and not too expensive.
  15. Y'all, I've been waiting for everybody to tell me those pictures were a joke. But they're not? Really? Goats.
  16. Have to keep Becks Prime running, amirite?
  17. Hey y'all, our friends are playing the main indoor stage at Luckenbach tomorrow night. C'mon out for the show... I'll be the Italian https://holdmyticket.com/event/433698
  18. Koko's closing next to Central Machine Works was a gut punch!
  19. I said I don't eat oysters but that's not true. Broiled, fried? That's a different story. Will be in NOLA soon and you know I'll have broiled oysters.
  20. Pool talk not going away
  21. Why did they use a picture of two Canadians for that show, eh hoser?
  22. (sidenote: aside from fully knowing who he is, I am amazed this is a real, undoctored picture)
  23. I mean, I guess if you live in Leander there probably isn't anything else to do? https://www.kxan.com/news/local/leander/people-injured-after-juveniles-threw-frozen-water-bottles-at-moving-vehicles-per-leander-police/?fbclid=IwY2xjawKuv2RleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHvHgaYxowtIGdaNsbDCiq4QRcv9BfCORBX_fNIWCViPUl8z4HKxZClt89Fok_aem_Kup7LfCMuqDoSj9YaiVADw
