  1. I work with a lot of O&G clients and I know there's an undercurrent of MAGA pretty much throughout the industry... except when you deal with the English and Scottish customers, many of which are in positions of authority. They are definitely not MAGA/Brexit types.
  2. Honestly, this thread is really sad
  3. But polls are always accurate. Trump is polling 120% to -3% in a head-to-head with Biden
  4. There is literally no limit to what he just might approve in order to get a product out regardless of whether it is effective or safe.
  5. Each justification post gets progressively. Better. Keep at it...
  6. I swear I need to get the family over there this weekend
  7. Eric Yielding, Joe Niekro and Señor Smoke say 🖕 to your weak sauce example. 2017 helped us get rid of most of the bandwagon fans. Those of us who've been around forever didn't turn our back on the team. Bandwagon. LOL
  8. thankfully they keep a low profile, unlike Houston.
  9. Exactly... I saw some gif of some band from the 60s. That's all I know.
  10. At least McCarthy finally said it out loud that Gaetz and his team are responsible but I fully expect him to go on Fox News and blame the Democrats once again.
  11. Dollars to donuts vote 4 will be incoming sooner or later
  12. ...and I'm finding my engagement on Threads is higher than it ever was on Twitter... you can tell the activity is picking up, its starting to cover breaking news more effectively and the algorithm does a good job of feeding up content suggestions that you would like. Better than Twitter. Not to mention that the community seems to be active in policing itself and blocking trolls/aholes. I like it.
  13. Because I'm 5'8" and I can finally make fun of him. If his name was Altuve or Messi it would be a different story
  14. This requires 1) balls because of the unpredictable glacial terrain that will swallow you up 2) determination 3) overall incredible knowledge of the terrain. Yes, he could have taken the cable car but I'm always impressed by this level of effort. Also, I love how you can get an appreciation of the altitude of glacial terrain in Europe starting much lower than one would think. If you've ever had a chance to enjoy that kind of terrain, enjoy it while you can because its retreating fast. Still remember picking up my family from their lesson at Le Tour de Balme at the east end of the Chamonix Valley and even there gawking up at the jagged chunks of glacier above us. If you look here, you can zoom in or in this picture and see the shards of the glacier as seen from the valley. Its amazing in person, even cooler when you're up there and looking at this otherwordly blue color of ice.
  15. Nice touch with Oddjob although in Trump's case its probably Random Task
  16. Royal Blue. Blue Bottle. Blue Balls. 220/221 whatever it takes
  17. Fair enough... you could still mix in "some" but maybe not on every block. If you're the only walkable family-friendly bar with a good patio in the midst of all that, you're going to draw gobs of families if you provide the right experience.
  18. I have to think there are some retailers willing to do it. Here's Blue Bottle and Blenders and Bowls (and there are others, of course) on E. 6th just east of Cisco's/Il Brutto... Royal Blue on Rainey with Emmer and Rye next door and other restaurants just south, near the Rainey killing fields...
