  1. It's not just that they don't understand business data. It's the complete and utter misunderstanding of data in general. Anyone whose worked with DOB data before can tell you the issues with it, he proves that he or his people are ill informed at best or telling lies at worst
  2. / https://oig.ssa.gov/assets/uploads/a-06-21-51022.pdf Results: And
  3. I really don't know if it's worse for him to just not understand and speak authoritatively on the topic or lie about it. Both are incredibly embarrassing considering how often he's straight up wrong.
  4. Just to be clear. Everyone gerrymanders. It's a blight on our country. https://www.vox.com/22961590/redistricting-gerrymandering-house-2022-midterms >Democrats saved themselves by resorting to a tactic they’ve previously denounced as not only unfair but downright unethical — House Speaker Nancy Pelosi calledgerrymandering “unjust and deeply dangerous” in 2019. But in the absence of national reforms banning the practice, refusing to gerrymander would have meant effective unilateral disarmament, ceding the GOP a significant advantage in the battle for control over the House. /// Also keep this in mind every time you see one of the "but it wasn't supposed to hurt the people that voted for him" things posted on FB or Twitter or letters to the editor
  5. How is the f1tv package? 🫠
  6. Making 294k per the coach salary thread.
  7. Fredericksburg / Enchanted Rock would be a great day trip. Have to reserve online but no issue if it's a weekday. I have a ton of recs between here and there if they decide to go that way. If they like WW2 the Nimitz is an incredible museum. If they go to the Pearl area going on a Saturday morning for farmers market is a great rec. Such a cool spot to just go check out. Get some bbq in San Antonio. Reese Bros or Pinkertons. Honestly with that many days they should spend a morning and go to Burnt Bean in Seguin. Combo with a day in New Braunfels or Gruene?
  8. It's genuinely incredible how often a product or company you like suddenly goes to shit and seemingly 99 percent of the time you look it up and it's bc PE acquired it.
  9. Uhhhh 22 Jaydon Blue composite 195, 247 had him as 101. That's after skipping his senior year which is crazy. 23 CJ Baxter, composite 18, five star, excellent true freshman year 23 Tre Wisner, composite 494, just ran for a thousand yards 24 Jerrick Gibson, composite 117 24 Christian Clark, composite 339 25 James Simon, composite 198 25 Rickey Stewart Plus what he's done with the dudes already on campus and what he brings to the table outside the RB room. That's a pretty fucking great job. Texas for Bijan as a composite 5 star RB, Jonathan Gray in 2012, Malcolm Brown in 11. So four in 15 years and he got one of them. Genuinely recruiting isn't something to complain about with him, period. Be impressed with him, because he was absolutely one of the best RB coaches and recruiters in the country.
  10. Are you complaining about the state of the Texas RB room during his tenure? Because on a per capita basis, he's been the best RB coach results wise in the last 20-25 years.
  11. They really are dumber than a box of rocks. In case folks didn't see the update on the Thompson Reuters contract
  12. Nudged out the door? He got a new deal and a salary increase like ten days ago.
  13. Yikes on Townsend. That's the kind of story that should live through a few cycles.
  14. Want to feel old? Choice just turned 40. Cadillac Williams is 42.
  15. Couple of Khenon Hall articles https://baylorlariat.com/2024/03/27/new-baylor-running-backs-coach-khenon-hall-expects-big-things-out-of-tailback-trio/ /// /// https://www.kcentv.com/article/sports/coach-khenon-hall-joins-baylor-staff/500-344b6eb6-8801-478f-84ab-01821a8442f3 /// This is a very in depth read on him. Worth giving sicem365 a click https://sicem365.com/s/16861/khenon-halls-journey-led-him-to-baylor-with-dave-aranda He interviewed for their recruiting coordinator job in 2020 which says a lot /
