Unhinged argumentums ad hominem, that's all you guys are packing. Maybe that is why you get the responses you do.

Can you elaborate as to what you like about Ted Cruz?

Are you really worried about the moral ambiguity of getting one over on Walmart? It is being shitty to very slightly defraud Walmart? Is there fraud even occuring? Does this even fall outside the lines of Walmarts return policy?

Again, even if so.. you're calling somebody shitty, in defense of Walmart... Really?

LOL.  So the severity of the crime depends on the victim?  We're not shooting the SS here.

  3. LOL.  I'm just not a metal guy when it comes down to it.  Never got into Iron Maiden, Dio, Black Sabbath, Slayer, etc.  It's kinda weird how much of an affinity I have for hard rock like Zep, AC/DC, etc.  Always dug super hard punk rock like Helmet, etc. too.  There's just a subset of classic metal that does zero for me.

Feel free to discount all my opinions henceforth.

“Step foot” is the closet to, if not the most ridiculous phrase anyone can type/write.

You don’t step with anything besides your feet so you are either totally ignorant or just trying to be wordy, which makes you totally ignorant. No one would say “clap hand” and dolts who “step foot” are simpletons.

Wait.  Who uses "step foot" and what does it mean?  Maybe I have finally escaped corporate lingo-land?

cool.  i was laughing at some imbecile 82 pages into a thread full of half assed turgid fantasy projection (and 100+ page deep on shaggy) complaining that the other side is too credulous.

i'll stop laughing when one of you douchebags does an honest list and review of all the half baked speculation and idiocy about trump just that has been taken seriously in this thread (we can do the trump thread later)

    OK, I'll start.

LOL.  Oops, I lied!  Fuck you.

Our would-be resident constitutional lawyer has some thin skin.

Doesn't everyone on the VaTech board agree with you?  Why not hang out there and add to the echo chamber?

Onboard is a Hokie?  That explains some things.

(No offense to VT, my Dad was a visiting prof there for a bit and I have very fond memories of Blacksburg, but most Hokies I've met lean pretty hard to the right side of the seesaw.)

Yep. I've never seen them live but my girlfriend, who is a huge CC fan, always insists on playing a live album of theirs in her car and it is absolutely brutal to listen to. And it's 100% because of Duritz's refusal to sing the melody.  It's really annoying.

T-Bone Burnett should have won a Grammy just for getting that twat to actually produce something listenable in the studio.

Militias were regulated by the states.

Now, don't get crossed up with Onboard.  He needs the facts to be different.  The militias were civilians.  They regulated themselves.  It says right there in his history book handbook.

So, Counting Crows not being mentioned must mean they are just for us olds?

I really like their debut album.  After that, not so much.

Plus, they suck live.  But that's a helluva debut.

I usually laugh at his shit by now but this one makes me ragey.

Disregarding the abominable spelling, capitalization, and overall sentence structure, how is this the Democrats' fault?  Have you looked at Congress, Donald?

  12. For a very long time, the courts (including SCOTUS) held that the 2nd Amendment ONLY conferred the right to bear arms on well-regulated state militias.  It was not thought to confer that right on individuals.  When the NRA experienced a shift in power to the right in the 1970s it starting pushing the "individual" angle.  THAT is where the modern perspective was born.

The irony here is that conservatives who scream "original intent" about the Constitution are actually supporting quite the opposite when they incorrectly assert that 2A has always conferred the right of the individual to bear arms.  But hey, nobody said the American people are in general very smart, and we certainly are not very knowledgeable about our own history.  This is getting worse, and it is the planned end game of the right wing power structure.  They WANT us to be dumb, and by God, we are.
