I used to hold a low level security clearance. The idea of Donald Trump making the call on my qualifications, much less those of his dim son-in-law, is hysterical.

Nirvana and there is no close second.

Believe me, I have no problem with anyone in power calling out Trump. It's just that I don't think the guy has earned my assumption that he's actually sincere. I think it's a PR stunt.
The words are great. The motivation? Maybe not.

Of course he's been fleeced. Six bankruptcies combined with a known predilection for screwing over and low-balling vendors on payments tells me so. He's a terrible businessman. If he can't fuck over the people to whom he owes money AND still turn a profit, then it's highly likely he's getting fucked over regularly in his "deals". The man is an idiot.

Now that I think about it I do recall some Russian PhD acoustics experts coming to ARL (Applied Research Labs) in the summer. I never dealt with them, as I was on loan from another lab on another project. They garnered a lot of respect for their math skills. Having little to no access to supercomputers leads to that.

Where are the Republicans?
Why aren’t they calling Trump out?
Republican Senator calls Trump out.
Immediately discredited and disregarded as politician doing politician things.
PATHETIC.
Back off. It's entirely reasonable to be skeptical of the man's motivations.

It's a completely calculated decision. He's not running for reelection. He probably has eyes on the Oval Office down the road and he's trying to paint himself as a man of principle who stood up to Trump, except of course when it really counted, which is when he voted on Capitol Hill.

I’m not giving anyone a pass for anything. What I am concerned with is due process. It’s like free speech: you can’t only support free speech for the speech you like. And if due process doesn’t apply to Trump then it doesn’t apply to anyone.I'm sorry, but who is advocating for the denial of due process when it comes to Trump? If anything, the vast majority of those who want him out of office have done just the opposite: we've all pretty much said that whatever Mueller finds will be accepted.
My main concern is that if Mueller finds truly nefarious behavior on the part of POTUS that the spineless bastards in Congress won't do anything about it. That's a different issue.

Yall are the same people telling me Trump was gonna be impeached by April of year 1. While yall have been chasing shadows, Trump has been Making America Great Again. REuters Generic polling shows Dems losing ground in a big way the last couple months and the public perception has shifted and the Russia probe is becoming more and more viewed as a witch-hunt.
Liar. I never said anything of the sort.
Is the truth that inconvenient for shitbrains like you?

You can disagree with him on policy and still like him for standing up for American principles. It’s okay to do that.
Why don’t people get this?!?
It's a stand of convenience. Just like the rest of the Republican patriots, he talks a big game but when it's nut-cutting time he folds like a cheap suit.

I generally pop in every so often, today is your lucky day. Are yall ready to admit Russia collusion was and always will be a big nothingburger? Or are we still clinging desperately to the hope that Trump is some savvy traitorous genius that has managed to outmaneuver deepstate US intelligence at every turn for over 3 years?
Nobody with a functioning brain stem would "admit" that the prospect of Russian collusion with the Trump campaign is a nothingburger. And do you know why? Because the fucking investigation is not complete yet.
Carry on with your pointless followup. We'll all consider it carefully.

Hey look, Vince is back. Yay.

I've done it hundreds of times, both directions. Got fucked over maybe twice. At that time I couldn't get PayPal to refund, but maybe things have changed. It's a risk.
I agree with beer -- charge actual shipping. My transactions were similar to yours, as I used to buy and sell audio gear online. You will get destroyed if you rely on "estimated" shipping costs. Dimensional weight, etc. never seems to be taken into account by those "estimate" tools.

Oasis in about 1990. Customer asked for manager. Manager arrives and the complaint is that there was a bloody band aid in their fajita meat. The manager offered to comp the entire meal, but they refused and said that they just "ate around it" and just wanted them to be aware.
That's right at the height of AIDS hysteria. Impressive.

All four family members (Mom, Dad, son, daughter) looked EXACTLY the same. Disgustingly obese (think 400 pound minimum) pale skin, freckles, bright red hair. The all ordered two fillets of friend catfish, onion rings, french fries, extra tartar sauce, extra cornbread, Dr. Pepper. One night, dad has a fucking heart attack while eating. Recovers a few minutes later and finishes his meal and doesn't miss any subsequent weeks.
Like a boss.

FUCK he almost did it.

Being given a directive by one's employer is one thing. Being given a directive by one's employer at the behest of POTUS is another thing entirely.
"Choice" doesn't matter when it's A or B. The government cannot compel us to choose between one of two personal expressions. The government cannot compel us to cease any (legal) expression, with a few obvious exceptions.

Wait, Kush got his clearance? When did that happen?
The sheer amount of mind-boggling information flying out of Washington on a daily basis makes it impossible for me to keep up.

It's not hilarity so much as a bitch -- I worked fast food (Wendy's) in HS, and I swear every manager was functionally retarded.
I was running the drive-thru register one day when a guy came flying up and slammed on his brakes right outside the window. He jumped out of his car and popped the hood, where it became clear that he had an engine fire. He was beating on it with his t-shirt, accomplishing little, so I grabbed the kitchen fire extinguisher and tossed it to him. He put the fire out. I got written up for improper use of kitchen equipment.

That FCS is lower than 676? Like below 620. Thought my arguement was obvious. I'll try better next time.
I never disputed your assertion. I thought I'd help DTV customers by telling them that it was (also) on channel 676 in HD.
Touchy.
