  13. Sorry if I missed it but the reference to John Cazale is not just a great character actor but THE actor with the greatest hit percentage ever: He appeared in five films over seven years, all of which were nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture: The Godfather (1972), The Conversation (1974), The Godfather Part II (1974), Dog Day Afternoon (1975), and The Deer Hunter (1978)
  14. Actually…. Not to be that guy but I actually bought a 4 pack of Heady at a Whole Foods in Venice Beach about 4 years ago and have also had their Focal Banger (which I actually preferred vs Heady) at Father’s Office in Santa Monica around the same time. I think California (at least certain places in that general area) gets Alchemist beers fairly regularly

  19. Saw it today. Thought it was great and was surprised how quickly the 3 hours flew by. I had no issues hearing the dialogue but, as is signature Nolan, the incredibly loud sound cues are to be expected. Actually made me laugh as one of them caused a jump scare for my wife.
  20. For lack of a better place to put this, the mention of Olivia Coleman reminds me of the first thing I saw her in that put her on my radar and also a film that really stuck with me (and that you’d otherwise never come across): a short film she was in called The Karman Line.
