  1. 22 is such a classic number, I’m surprised more RBs don’t choose the number. Bobby Layne, Tony Dorsett, and Emmitt Smith just to name a few Texas ties. Hook’em!!!
  2. Cowboys get Quinn next draft. Hell he’s a local kid! The Saints will kick the can down the road, waiting on Arch after a season or two. Just my opinion. Can you imagine Arch playing for the same team as Grandpa - I can. Hook’em!!!
  3. Have any of you Surly SOBs watched/listened to the Paul Finebaum show? It’s daily on the SECN live, 2-6 our time, or on the SXM radio. This is the “passion” that we are about to enter in a month+. I really think you have to have about 3-4 cold ones in you, on a Friday afternoon, to understand most callers. Hook’em!!!
  4. I “heard” they might move Juan to more like a H-Back position, just to get him on the field. Run, catch, block, and receive. Kind of like the 49’ers Swiss Army knife. Hook’em!!!
  5. Time for Blue, Wisner, and the true Freshmen to step up. Thank you to the two early guys coming into the fold/family in January! We’ll be ok while CJ4 gets healthy, because we do plan on throwing the ball a couple times per game. Hook’em!!!
  6. We need Randy Duke to chime in on this. Hello RD (Bat signal). Solve our aggy myths. Hook’em!!!
  7. It’s like aggy claiming the Officer from D-Day. He stepped foot on campus. I think he actually got his undergraduate from TCU? Hook’em!!!
  8. You’re my Boy “Blue!” Hook’em!!!
  9. I’ve got to get me a J Whitt T-Shirt/Jersey once he is “officially” #88. He was truly one of my favorite Horns from the last group of players (3-5 seasons). Hook’em!!!
  10. And all the Quinn to the stable of WRs doesn’t even mention the nations’ best RB, in CJ Baxter! Ahem - we will run the ball too with Baxter, Blue, and the others within the loaded RB room. So many plays and not enough touches to go around. Nice predicament to be in - IMO Let alone passes out of the backfield. Hook’em!!!
  11. Arizona is “on their heels too!” Hook’em!!!
  12. Two of those nine wins also include games against FCS schools. The year JM won the Heisman. Hook’em!!!
  13. AB and others, I’ve attended each Alamo Bowl since RG3 beat Washington. I think we’re going on like a dozen. Always a great experience/Game. My Son, now out of college for a couple of years, has tried to make sure he’s off for the Alamo Bowl. Hook’em !!!
  14. Texas’ Not Texas’s First sentence lost me. Hook’em!!!
  15. I can only wear the Poncho brand while wearing jeans and boots. I really like the look, but unless you’re in a suite for a September 2:30 KO, I’ll be wearing T-shirts and shorts. Hook’em!!!
  16. Pitcher for the Pirates? Hook’em!!!
  17. Yes - Golden Domers are our hope to start the aggy roller coaster in week one. I don’t care what ND does the rest of the season, as long as the beat aggy week 1 in Pyle! Hook’em!!!
  18. 2027 - the year of two aggy. Even though I don’t consider NMSU and Las Cruces aggy. Hook’em!!!
  19. SBBruin - I also vote to meet your Son at Rutgers and enjoy NYC over the travel weekend. Hook’em!!!
  20. SBBruin - time to collect on travel miles and spruce up the sail boat for 2025. Best uniforms in CFB, if they ever go back to the old school “baby blues!” Hook’em!!!
  21. AB - I think that was from Mack’s last season, as I’ve personally been to the last dozen Alamo Bowls. I work with many OUsucks at my employer, who happens to host the Bowl by name. Each year we’d say “please not us,” as that means the season really didn’t finish like we would’ve hoped. Hook’em!!!
  22. After the first couple of drives don’t go your way, can you hit the “restart” button? Just asking? Hook’em!!!
  23. The day Texas succumbs to the “youth” and changes their helmet color, I really think my Dad will have a stroke. He already thinks the Horns’ jerseys look like NASCAR. And I concur! Hook’em!!!

    Fuck Michigan

Thanks Zeus. That was a great highlight clip to post. Hook’em!!!
  25. Since just 2010, I’ve owned an older Silverado, a Sierra, down to a Tacoma, while my Company car was a shitty Chevy car, and finally back to owning a Ram truck. I hated driving the co car, as when one is used to driving higher (visibility wise), it’s tough to go down to a lower level. I’m one of those truck owners that outside the 6-10 trips to Lowe’s or HD and etc, there might be five other times annually that I really use a truck bed. I just like riding higher, appreciate the bigger engine, and the fact that I have the truck bed if I need it. Hook’em!!!
