  1. I still don't understand how to buy calls. Maybe it is the way E*Trade lists them. The options for a Call are "Buy Open", "Sell Open", "Buy Close", and "Sell Close". Then I see all those same options for a Put.
  2. https://parenting.nytimes.com/health/coronavirus-family-travel-advisory?&te=1&nl=morning-briefing&emc=edit_NN_p_20200227&section=topNews&campaign_id=9&instance_id=16317&segment_id=21669&user_id=d725ad22469cbf65f0623132d4206e3e&regi_id=104874598;section=topNews
  3. I would wait to pull the plug. If things shut down the airlines and hotels will almost certainly work with you. And if they don't you will get to travel with much less then normal tourists. Unless you have some other preexisting conditions or this thing mutates it does not sound like most of us have anything to worry about even if you do catch it.
  4. I had no idea there were stores just called "Mi Tienda" see the two in Houston now. The rundberg/lamar location was branded as a "mi tienda" HEB for awhile. The sign still said HEB but added a "mi tienda" label as well, kinda like the "plus" on the HEB plus stores. No idea if it still is. https://www.austinchronicle.com/food/2012-01-20/h-e-b-mi-tienda/
  5. Going to Whistler next month and Disneyworld in May. No plans to change anything.
  6. Not all of it was, but look at the declines in the healthcare and insurance companies. Those are sold more then the market and can directly be tied to Berine (medicare for all, put insurance companies out of business).
  7. Looks like it is sold out on amazon, their website says it will begin shipping back to them in March.
  8. Dow opened down 1k now only down 850, 150 pt rally!!!
  9. So now we are back to believing China's data? I think that is crazy. Look at the fatality rate outside of China.
  10. IMO it is because this thinking is based on things that obviously should happen. i.e Stocks should go down because Chinese manufacturing is going to slow down. When the reality is anything that is obvious was priced in by the trading algorithms weeks ago. Any news the average consumer has is already priced in. That is why the market is not behaving the way you expect.
  11. I guess the trade got a little bit better for you?
  12. The futures market is not indicating a big swing on this news. I suppose we will know in the morning.
  13. Consider a electric one. I have both a gas and electric and I use the electric far more often. They have come a long way. I have a Ryobi 40W that gets plenty of use.
  14. Well they could be looking at the info outside of China where the mortality rate is much much lower. Then you don't care how bad China is under reporting the number, it looks like outside of China very very few people die from this. That would mean that yes China has much much more infected then they know, however most of those are going to be just fine. Even hundreds of dead per day in the country the size of China is going to have no long term impact. TLDR As long as the mortality rate outside of China does not rise significantly it does not matter how badly China is reporting numbers.
  15. I am in the camp the market has most of this baked in. I think the money on Wall Street has better info, then the rumors and what the sky is falling crowd are saying.
