  1. My grandmas, I believe Lincoln, had similar maroon interior and had permanent grandma perfume smell. Loved riding in that car to the bowling alley.
  2. He has 10x the offensive talent than Mitchell. Mitchell was athletic and could jump and that’s it. He was not a basketball player.
  3. I doubt that a kid that went to Stanford as a top 40 recruit in the country is going to go to Tech. Michigan, UCLA maybe Florida but dirt Aggy isn’t pulling this type of kid. I know he visited there but just don’t see it.
  4. I believe it’s still Cintron and this would be his 7th year.
  5. Siesta Key is a great beach town. Have spent quite a bit of time there recently. Pacific Beach in San Diego is great little town as well. Although not super beachy Key West is a good time. Honestly, Port Aransas is great town and a blast, the beach is just not that pretty.
  6. Sure, definitely not the kids fault for accepting a scholarship to get a masters at Texas.
  7. Bringing the Buckman and Klotz vibes.
  8. Has to be better than the twat we ran out a C the last two years. He was softer than soft serve.
  9. Tacos Garcias Taquitos West Ave Taqueria Datapoint Blanco Cafe If you are in the Pearl, Mezquite has a great vibe and the food was really good. Ladino has good Mediterranean food, also by the Pearl. Southerleigh and Carriqui are both very good. If you want to walk from the riverwalk. Rosario’s on St Mary’s is walkable as is Dough. They have great pizza and are on Alamo. Rosario’s new building has a nice roof top bar, they don’t serve food up there but if waiting for a table it’s a great spot for a ranch water or margarita. If you were to walk down Alamo further into Southtown, Bar Loretta is awesome as is Little Ems. In downtown proper Pinkertons has good BBQ and Moons Daughter is good bar. La Fonda on Main has the best patio in town and very good food.
  10. That’s baseball. Didn’t score a ton of runs but the quality of at bats from Walker and Paredes was nice. They didn’t just go up there and swing at bad pitches early in the at bat.
  11. Can’t share the active radar but sure looks like it’s not breaking up
  12. Been pouring for an hour and half in Alamo Heights. Looks to be pushing up to the Hill Country and Austin
  13. How big of cluster do y'all think next week will be? I know it’s probably the wrong choice but I am interested in going to the Chris Stapleton and Nathaniel Rateliff show.
  14. Really wish that would push a little further into the Hill Country
  15. I’ll probably get negged for this but wouldn’t it make sense to have McCullers in the bullpen pitching 1 or 2 innings a week? I think he could be successful in that role.
  16. 1 dick vs 144 dicks
  17. Picked up Chief from the boarder after he got a bath.
  18. Texas Roadhouse best spot in SA
  19. Ate at Haywire last Wednesday. Nice vibe and the food was good. Not a fan of the mall but if you are in the area it will now be a go to spot. No The Rustic is still for lease. It’s a huge space, I really don’t know what could justify that lease. House of Blues?
  20. You must not be familiar.
  21. For an ice house Hills and Dales is a pretty classic San Antonio place on that side of town. I’ve never seen Pinkertons completely sold out. There may be a meat that’s sold out but not the entire menu. If you have your dog and are going to go downtown I would check Idle Brewing and Beer Hall in North Downtown. They make good beer and have a nice patio. Two blocks away is Road Map brewing on Alamo and one block the opposite direction is Back Unturned Brewing. Not exactly near Government Canyon but very close to Pinkertons.
