  1. I'm just glad he isn't out for the season. I don't like to see that for anyone.
  2. This sucks. I don't have anything against that kid. I wanted him to do well last year.
  3. I don’t hate it. It’s not awesome or anything but, it’s not the worst thing ever.
  4. Not “about”. That is a great look. The helmet is so much better than the black. It’s insanity that they don’t go to that for every game.
  5. The "real" throwbacks are very nice, Broncos, Eagle, Seattle, Tampa and Dolphins. I'm not crazy about the Steelers WaybackThrowback uniforms.
  6. This I posted July 5 in response to someone else's comment: I know you were jagging but, I decided to go ahead and take a look at their stats while in college. Both are wonderful players. Both played 139 collegiate games. Clark averaged 28.4 ppg while Plum averaged 25.4 ppg. Plum played more minutes per game, 37.4 to 34.8 which, if you just divide the total by 40 minutes, works out to basically nine more games than Clark played. Clark averaged more rebounds per game, 7.1 to 4.3 and assists per game, 8.2 to 3.8. Clark shot better from the floor, 46.2% to 44.3%. Plum did shoot better from 3, 38.2% to 37.7%. Clark scored 3,951 points to Plum's 3,527. Blew her right out of the water.
  7. Imagine being the announcers for that game and actually pretending that it was good.
  8. I think the use of the word, Owe, was not a smart decision.
  9. That's a PR battle they will not win. "Pay Us What You Owe Us"
  10. Don't fuck with a guy whose name on his shirt is Big Al
  11. gotcha. still don't like it.
  12. In the Pittsburgh Tribune it lists both four, and three, years as well as both numbers. I’m not sure why. Neither makes me feel great. https://triblive.com/sports/t-j-watt-steelers-agree-to-contract-extension-making-him-highest-paid-non-qb-in-nfl/
  13. Steelers and Watt agree to 4-year, $144,000,000 extension. I'm not really in favor of this but, the most expensive defense just got a bit more expensive. 9-8 is so awesome!
  14. An excellent film.
  15. I went on Monday. I had had zero expectations. I thought that they would screw it up. I don't think they did. It was good, a bit predictable, as others have said but, all in all, I enjoyed it.
  16. Yup, it’s good for the sport to have more than just one guy dominate.
  17. Well done by Sinner. Very impressive.
  18. Wow, Sinner is making him run. Three championship points now. Sinner on serve, up, 5-4, in the 4th
  19. Sinner pulled that game out of the fire to go up, 5-3.
  20. I know it is anything but easy but, these guys make this look so easy. There is no way in hell I’m getting a racket on any of their serves. I wouldn’t mind Sinner winning
  21. I like Novak. Out of the Big-3 I probably like him the most. That said, it's been 22 months now since he won the U.S. Open in 2023. I just don't see him winning another major. I would not be upset if I were completely wrong but, he is 38-years old. I think time to exit stage left. https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2025/jul/11/reality-is-im-getting-too-old-to-win-grand-slams-admits-beaten-djokovic Sinner dismantles ailing Djokovic to set up Wimbledon final against Alcaraz Novak Djokovic said he must accept the reality that his ageing body continues to make it extremely difficult for him to win another grand slam title after struggling physically in his emphatic defeat by the world No 1, Jannik Sinner, in the semi-finals of Wimbledon on Friday. A month after suffering a straight sets defeat by Sinner in the semi-finals of the French Open, Djokovic was subjected to an even more one-sided 6-3, 6-3, 6-4 defeat by an imperious Sinner. The 38-year-old moved sluggishly throughout and he took a medical timeout after losing the second set. “I don’t think it’s bad fortune,” said Djokovic. “It’s just age, the wear and tear of the body. As much as I’m taking care of it, the reality hits me right now, last year and a half, like never before, to be honest. Photograph: Tom Jenkins/The Guardian “It’s tough for me to accept that because I feel like when I’m fresh, when I’m fit, I can still play really good tennis. I’ve proven that this year. But playing best of five, particularly this year, has been a real struggle for me physically. The longer the tournament goes, the worse the condition gets. I reached the semis of every slam this year, but I have to play Sinner or [Carlos] Alcaraz. These guys are fit, young, sharp. I feel like I’m going into the match with the tank half empty. It’s just not possible to win a match like that. “It is what it is, you know? It’s one of these things I accept and embrace in some way, deal with the reality the way it is, and try to make the most out of it, I guess.”
  22. The run is over for Novak. He should just retire. Go out as one of the greatest. Don't keep abusing his body.
