  1. Our standard rotation is (I try to be lower carb during the week): Grilled boneless thighs. Just so much easier than breasts. Never dry. Grilled pork tenderloin Salmon - occasionally grilled but usually pan seared and then finished in oven Sides in the rotation - roasted okra, roasted brussels, steamed or roasted broccoli or broccolini, sauteed zucchini with onions and mushrooms, sauteed bell pepper Usually cook a pasta for the kids. All this is pretty easy and healthy. Can mix and match different.
  2. If true, Bama really did get fucked. That's a first from the SEC office.
  3. Honestly, big story at the time but, since announced, it hasn't really been discussed a bunch on the Arkansas boards. We have enough shit to deal with. And there's a wide range of opinions on it, but none that are scared that Texas is going to start big dicking everyone in the SEC. I'm not trying to say that in an insulting way, I just don't think anyone thinks that's possible. I'm sure Texas will have their years, but its now 16 schools, most of whom are fully committed to athletics. Its highly competitive and I don't know what leverage Texas would have to start "big dicking" anyone. Texas is going to be a great addition in football, basketball and baseball to go along with a lot of great football, basketball and baseball programs already in the SEC. So you get opinions ranging from "this is good for the SEC, more $$ for us" to "Anything that hurts A&M is good" to "I'm looking forward to renewing the rivalry every season" to "they're going to get their shit pushed in" to "Great, Texas is rolling on the schedule, now maybe Bama will roll off?" That said, I think it's universally thought that OU is fucking up big time. They will probably end up closer to Arkansas. Collecting a big check but competing every year with a lot of programs that have every built in advantage possible.
  4. Used to be Isla Fisher and Amy Adams. Maybe still is.
  5. Yeah, it's terrible about having to "re-authenticate." Usually if you log out and log back in, it works. But that's a pain in the ass to do.

  7. What was the pot shot? I don't remember and google doesn't deliver on this one.
  8. That was never reported as a text. Miles texted Miller to bring his gun. Miller came to scene. Davis took gun from Miller's car. Miles told Davis verbally "the heat is in the hat/there's one in the head." Davis shot the victims car. Miles and Davis charged with murder.
  9. Proving what in the court of law? You think using slang automatically negates intent?
  10. So if I texted you and said "I need my gun, a guy just used words in an aggressive manner with no intention or ability to back them up*", what do you think I'm going to do with the gun? I'm clearly in a dispute and at a minimum I'm going to brandish the weapon. *https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=fakin
  11. Three thoughts: 1. Assuming that Miller speaks the same slang as Miles, there's no way he didn't know - from the text- he had the gun, and that Miles intended to use the gun, at least to intimidate. 2. Regarding Miles, he had plenty of time to cool down. This was straight up, premeditated, murder. From a D1 athlete on scholarship. Over a girl he just met. Talk about a waste. 3. Holy shit that a top 5 NBA pick was sitting in his car as two bullets flew through the front windshield!
  12. Attorney wants us to ignore the fact that he requested the gun by text, and Miller showed up with said gun.
  13. Soon to be All American, best player on #2 team in the nation, top 5 NBA prospect. Holy shit, how is he not charged in this? Did I answer the question with my first sentence? https://www.al.com/news/2023/02/darius-miles-texted-brandon-miller-to-bring-gun-used-to-kill-jamea-jonae-harris-police-testify.html?utm_campaign=aldotcomSports_sf&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter
  14. If these pass, will need to have two sets of record books. Pre-2023 and Post 2023.
  15. Todd Haley never coached under Reid. Doug Peterson did and would a good comparison to Bienemy. Maybe it is race, but IMO, Bienemy - on paper - also seems more qualified than many of the black coaches hired recently. He sure as hell looks more attractive on paper than the Texans last two hires - David Culley and Lovie Smith.
  16. https://www.nbcnews.com/health/health-news/natural-immunity-protective-covid-vaccine-severe-illness-rcna71027 Immunity acquired from a Covid infection is as protective as vaccination against severe illness and death, study finds The immunity generated from an infection was found to be “at least as high, if not higher” than that provided by two doses of an mRNA vaccine.
