  7. No affiliation, very happy customer, CGS makes some niche custom add-on racks and stuff that really make most kamados more flexible. They have a Christmas sale, and it is rare that they have sales. I use their Woo ring in my Kamado Joe Jr, makes it easier to remove the deflector and grate as a unit, esp when hot. I use their expander rack in my Big Joe, and it is more flexible and more convenient than the Kamado Joe extender rack (KJ only fits one specific position, and has 3 vertical feet, while CGS is a fully round support ring and can even be used without a grate in place, it sits right on the grate support nubs). CGS expander rack also has an optional deflector holder and 2pc top grate so you can flip it up for easy access to the center of the main grate, as well as so you can use it as an indirect warming rack above one extra deflector. I've recommended them earlier in this thread, some of their accessories allow you to drop a grate down close to the coals for searing. They also have a variety of grate and drip pan sizes if you're having difficulty finding one for your exact smoker size. For Green Egg users, the CGS grate systems are a huge improvement in cooking flexibility. Not so much for KJ users. No affiliation whatsoever. I sound like a spambot. I'm a happy longtime customer.

  12. About 10 more days like this and I'll break even on IBRX!!!!
  13. Portable does not mean lower quality any more. Full rez and higher-than-CD rez files are readily available these days from Tidal, Roon, etc. I still have shelves and books of CDs, but I ripped them to lossless FLAC files over the years so my physical CD library is now a novelty decoration; the listening source is digital files and it all fits on a portable player or phone.
  14. Get On The Track, getonthetrack.com Not affiliated but a very longtime friend. He'll get you out on Harris Hill, Cota, or dirt and gravel rally depending what you want to do. Lots of instruction experience in all sorts of cars.

  20. In January 2021, EOSE was $28, so there's lots of upside potential!
  21. No, time for a real code reader that gets the Mercedes specific codes. Autel is one, I use Launch for Benz and Rover, (Protool for BMW), but be aware most of them need some sort of subscription for updates. Launch also only sends reports via upload to China so they invade all your privacy. But for 100-200 to see all the car systems faults, its the same price as paying a dealer just to pull the codes once.
  22. Bet its the battery. Low voltage makes modern cars light every system fault.
  23. Coco was a masterpiece.
  24. BMW 3series is credit car.
