  1. I'd rather that than smell farts.
  2. No, he/she sucks at parking. But that lot also sucks, spaces look really narrow.
  3. I am Treefiddy and willing to react to any posts you want for $1 per reaction. Message me for my PayPal.
  4. So much this. Fuck QR code menus. I've walked out of restaurants a few times when I asked them for a print menu and they didn't have one.
  5. Probably weigh more than Tahoe. Again.
  6. Found Kyotatsu menu pics from last month (Mar 2025):
  7. I feel like Apr1 would be a better choice of date.
  8. Yo Yo
  9. Agreed. There are times when I just want a straight grilled steak, no technique cook.
  10. This applies pretty broadly as well: There are food courts under most of the big dept stores, and if you're looking for something easily accessible (AC, parking, picture menus, usually with some English, "clean" environment) with variety for everyone's taste, it's an easy option for a meal.
  11. But then how would you be able to return it after wearing it on your date? #rocko
  12. If it's your first time, do the fried version, not the soup version.
  13. I'm in agreement. Time will tell.
  14. That Rolex is hideous. Will sell great in Middle East and Asia, so it is a success.
  15. In Taipei, Nanmen Market remodeled last year and is a really neat "modern" version of local market, lots of preserved items, dried foods and seafoods, lots of prepared food stalls. One noodle shop in the cafeteria upstairs got Michelin listed, you'll know it by the goddamn line around the building. Just outside to the right is another Michelin listed food stall, again look for the line. I'm biased, but second the Tainan rec, super foodie city and still small town feel. Edit: the Outdoor Boys just did 2 weeks in Taiwan not long ago, see if anything in here catches your eye. A nice outsiders view of Taiwan and activities: https://youtu.be/h9I85veqN2Q?si=k4X0ozbcs0D0o8px Jiufen that they visited is really cool, little mining village hanging on the side of a mountain. But has gotten so insanely crowded with tourists, esp on weekends.
  16. rip

Coco was such a masterpiece. Will see this for sure.
  18. Up the budget slightly and get a 991 Targa.
  19. The JAL Lounge sushi is, no hyperbole, better than 95% of sushi in the US. I'd put the tuna up more at 98% or so. It is amazing that it is free lounge food, and that lounge weighs in quite heavily when I am choosing which airline to fly through NRT.
  20. Taiwan actually did a PSA campaign many years ago about the priority seats, had hilarious video ads. One was a lady with slightly overweight belly walking up to a younger guy sitting in priority seat, the guy sees her and says "Wow 3 months congratulations!!!" and stands up to let her sit and she beats the shit out of him with her purse.
  21. Went through Narita last month and Kyotatsu is still there and still great!
  22. Eating in Taiwan is dirt cheap. Even the fancy food is half the price of other major cities. And it's fuggin good food.
  23. Yup, any minivan.
