  1. Those rims disqualify it from perfection.
  2. There are a few other threads on this, but Ken Onion WorkSharp is my rec. Watch some YT and practice on a piece of shit knife a few times first, then nothing is as easy while still not being aggressive on the knife.
  3. Flying during Covid was the most pleasant travel I'll ever have. 20 people on the entire flight most of the time. Tickets were half price or less. And airports had zero lines or waits for check in, customs, immigration. Customs wouldn't search your shit because they didn't want to be near you for any longer than necessary.
  4. Sorry, I just read up and Texas has no law preventing rate raise if not at fault. I've been only used to states that do have that legal protection (many do). I did give bad advice for Texas. Don't claim your own insurance unless other party's insurance is absolutely not working with you.
  5. This still applies. Always claim your own insurance and let them figure it out. They have way more lawyers and way more clout than you.
  6. And why should they NOT be conflated? It's just another product with a listed price. His point on societal norms is exactly correct, and we all have different concepts and different regional factors that affect those norms. It's why tipping is such a divisive topic.
  7. I stand pretty far away or outside your door, but I absolutely will not interrupt you.
  8. Delete.
  9. People who "stack the newscast." The fuck does that even mean??
  10. The recipe is obviously coming from some credible sources, but I really question cooking white meat turkey to 160. That's dry and overcooked for white meat. Now if that's for full bird, then I agree; dark meat needs 160. If you're doing only a breast, go to 140.
  11. Pic is outside the house, unless driveway and Astroturf in bright sun is modern architecture. Aluminum pan is just fine, enjoy the fish.
  12. Wait, you worked at the strip club?
  13. I actually got something similar a week or so ago. Had wayyy too many categories to micromanage the types of spam I could volunteer for, everything was disabled, and I still got spam from them. Ok, report spam and block sender then, I gave you a chance!
  14. Ugh. (I hate cold.)
  15. If you want true set and forget capability, just add a fan controller to the WSM.
  16. This is me. I've never looked at pre-tax, and very rarely do I subtract the cost of bottles of wine etc. Just too lazy, it's a few dollars difference at most.
  17. If you can dodge a wrench, ...
  18. None of us. Even us idiots didn't touch that stupidity.
  19. I really don't give a shit about the f8. It's a new production car, they can easily make another anytime they want if someone pays enough. I felt a whole lot worse about the f40s that burned in 2020 and 2021. His squatted truck episodes are always a laugh.
  20. His Tesla on wagon wheels episode was effing hilarious.
  21. *10% You work your way up from there. Basic service gets a basic tip.
  22. I asked Amex to put be back on hold once, because the hold music was some great classical music and was at a great part of the score when they picked up. They did not oblige.
  23. Depends on the tostada. 6" or so they should hold together and you just slide some fingers under it and bite your way across the whole thing. A proper tostada shell won't shatter apart like some taco shells when you bite. Also, a bean and cheese tostada is the best for this as the bean and cheese serves as a reinforcement glue on the shell (sorta like a cheese hinge). 9" dinner tostada, I chop it up with fork (just stab all over to shatter the shell into pieces) and eat pieces of shell+topping balanced on top.
  24. But that confidence tho
