  1. That guy does Micah Parsons sized contracts in the NFL. Surely this is being handled by one of his junior agents?
  2. There's never been a dude more destined to be the football coach at some west Texas or panhandle HS than this guy. He's also one of the very few players on the team that exceeded preseason expectations. He will do well somewhere, and if he develops he'll have a shot at the NFL.
  3. This is a solid discussion about the fallacy of these billionaires and their AI bullshit claims.
  4. That sounds like the type of no evidence theory that usually comes out of maga morons. Would love to get a look at any "studies" that concluded this and if they're adequately peer reviewed.
  5. This is great news. We need the type of selfish, souless, middle management dickwad that plays municipal golf courses to feel the pain. Maybe can get 1 or 2 of the cowards to start railing against this corrupt asshole.
  6. What's the story on Burnt Ends moving away from supporting the tight ends?
  7. We don't even know what receivers are going to be on the team yet and some dude is adamant Moseley has to be a 3 instead of 4 on a depth chart. That doesn't strike you as stupid?
  8. It all sort of depends on who is performing the best. Depth chart isn't even worth discussing 9 months before the season
  9. I'm in the portal thread. Is a handful of players sticking and the majority not worth the effort to actually follow HS recruiting? For this 2026 class I didnt pay much attention at all. Checked in every few of months and got the news on the big targets like Bell, Atkinson, Cooper. Then spent about an hour in early December looking at the class and probably have just as much of a realistic feel for it as anyone here. Just seems like a massive time waste to pay attention to HS stuff daily throughout the year when these two weeks here are going to determine if we're title contenders or not.
  10. Jesus, that was quick. So much for showing his white board skills to Babers on OTF as a HS senior. Honest question, those of you who still follow HS recruiting... why?
  11. In 2 seasons he's lost as many games as Saban lost from the 2011 season through the 2016 season. Of course the inbred goobers in one of the dumbest states in the dumbest country on the planet aren't going to understand Saban retired because even he knew he was cooked once he wasnt able to buy all the top talent cheaply anymore. They're definitely going to try to kill DeBoer
  12. Nail meet head of the hammer: "Asked whether he believed there was consensus among the power conference commissioners that a Group of Five representative should be guaranteed a spot in the next iteration of the playoff, Yormark’s smarmy response practically gave away the game. “Frankly, that’s a great question, and I don’t want to speak to that,” he said. “I mean, listen, there’s 10 commissioners and obviously Notre Dame that are on the management committee, and we all communicate and we’re all being very thoughtful about it. I will say that the Power Four commissioners are spending more time together to work through what expansion might look like. But there’s a lot of things we have to weigh and consider and we’ll see what happens.” Yormark didn’t have to say another word to make it clear where he stands. But the question we should all be asking is whether it’s because he doesn’t believe the unwashed Group of Five masses belong in the playoff or because he’s afraid the Big 12 would be rendered irrelevant if it were forced to earn its keep. We just watched the team that dominated his conference all year get reduced to ashes by the third-best team in the Big Ten. Who’s the charity case now, Brett?"
  13. We should also find some kid with a monster leg and get him in just for kickoffs. Should never have a game like yesterday where we keep giving up kickoff returns to mid field or beyond because our kicker cant put it through the end zone
  14. https://sports.yahoo.com/college-football/breaking-news/article/texas-techs-blowout-loss-just-the-latest-college-football-playoff-humiliation-for-brett-yormark-big-12-230552581.html
  15. They think thanking a god makes them seem humble, but anyone with critical thinking skills can see it's about the most narcissistic thing you can say. Would be far more appropriate to just thank your teammates for all their hard work.
  16. It feels more personal because he was on record of being all burnt orange from birth and dreaming of being a Horn. Then gets his dream, exceeds expectations in his 2nd year, and gets pushed out for a mercenary. Would be like Ehlinger getting pushed out for Kyler Murray if the portal existed back then. Would be understandable from a talent perspective, but just feel very very wrong. It's going to hit the emotions of fans.
  17. Ryan Williams turned in a big 26 yd catch but only added 5 catches for 27 yds outside that one play. As his team got demolished by 35 points and only scored a FG. Those hillbillies can keep him
  18. A 3 outside WR rotation of Wingo, Coleman, and Moseley would be damn salty for a leveled up Arch in his NFL audition and heisman favorite season. Arch and Sark cutting out Arch's buddy and roommate to bring in a more talented mercenary is some football game of thrones shit. Provided they're still buddies and Arch didn't bang Livingstone's hoe or something.
  19. You just have to look at it like an anthology series. Every season is independent from the last, and an actor may or may not carry over into a different role.
  20. This might be what makes sense. Coleman is a big outside receiver, and if they are also keeping Wingo, the Coleman position would be Livingstone's.
  21. Or one that admits he's not so egotistical to believe if any all powerful diety exists that diety would care more about his performance in a game than helping the tens of thousands of children across the world that died of neglect, abuse, or malnurishment today. I can only shake my head these days at insane narcissistic and tone deaf people who thank a god for helping them win a game.
  22. That's shocking given how he said his family are big UT fans and it was his dream to play in Austin. Maybe the coaches plan for him going forward isn't what he expected? Might signal they're going to swing big for multiple receivers in the portal.
  23. I did some film breakdown of a couple of the non con games on the football board and Clark's issue was mental. He wasn't running the gap schemed in the play and was wasting carries where the line actually blocked it well. He was so bad he got flat benched at halftime of the UTEP game I believe. I'm sure part of it is he's feeling stronger physically now than in September. But the biggest growth I noticed was mental. He both ran to gap correctly most of the time as well as less choppy feet hesitation in the backfield. Much more decisive against a faster and better defense than he was screwing up against in September.
